"The location was great - walking distance to the farmer’s market and golf course. Very busy lake on the chain of lakes, but easy to get around. Sauna, hot tub, and plenty of room to play on the lake. We brought our pontoon and jet skis and had a good place to dock. Very easy to get to the landing and good trailer parking for the stay. Kitchen was adequate and bar was fun. Pool table was great and the selection of board games was endless. We made lots of amazing memories!"

"Staff was very friendly. Impressed with the breakfast for “complimentary”. Room was clean but only complaint was a “musty” smell from the fan blowing. I have experienced same smell at two other (different chain) hotels recently, so it could just be “the season”. I would stay here again when in the area."

"We loved our stay and had a wonderful week. The house and property are very nice and all of the beds are comfortable. There’s plenty of room indoors and out so even with a lot of people, it doesn’t feel crowded. Lots of nice plates, bowls, glasses and silverware and with two dishwashers, it was easy to always have clean dishes. A good assortment of spices and two coffee makers, one Keurig and one drip. There’s a ping pong table and foos ball in the garage that was lots of fun. And down at the boathouse, there’s a cute little sitting area inside.The boat put in is directly across from the house, so convenient if you’re renting or have boats. A couple of fairly minor things - there’s no soap of any kind in the showers, only liquid soap at the bathroom sinks, so bring soap. However, the showers were nice and the pressure very good. Toilet paper and paper towels are not supplied either, so bring those. The double ovens are really nice to have, but should have been cleaned - I couldn’t find a self clean button or I would have done it. I would definitely recommend Yellow Birch Inn - and already have - to my friends."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The dock with fixed chairs, swim platform, and beautiful deck with plenty of seating made for the perfect mostly outdoors northwoods vacation. The views from the deck were beautiful! The lake around the dock was great for swimming - no seaweed - and our large pontoon. With two extremely hot (95) days, we were also very grateful for the strong, cool, air conditioning system keeping us comfortable. We didn't use the firepit because of the heat, but it looked amazing. The kitchen was one of the most well-stocked kitchens of any Vrbo I've stayed in. We didn't need a thing, plus we cooked on the gas grill (they have a weber as well) and blackstone. We comfortably slept 10 adults and had plenty of space for games, reading, watching golf, or whatever interest anyone had. So close to town for groceries or eating out. Highly recommend this gorgeous lakehouse and would stay again!"

"Great place to stay on the Eagle River Chain! The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. The fishing was outstanding, and the dock provided excellent access for launching and keeping our boat.One thing to note: if you’re bringing a boat and need shore power, plan to bring 200–250 feet of extension cords, as the electrical hookup is a good distance from the dock.The property is very clean, family-friendly, and has a nice sandy shoreline that’s great for swimming. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"So fun and perfect size and amenities for a small family. Kayaking was so fun and we could walk to the pirate boat and pizza/ice cream restaurant. Plus we biked to town and farmers market. Loved sitting on the back porch for morning coffee and at end of the night. Loved this place."
