"A fantastic hotel, very well kept and a great location. The team of fabulous staff could not do enough for us, they made our family holiday very special. The breakfast was incredible and we will definitely be back again."

"An absolutely beautiful stay! The reception and front-of-house team were incredible special mention to Mickey and Jeda, so friendly, welcoming and attentive to every detail. They made me feel more like a friend than a guest. A special mention to Rosy at breakfast, who was always smiling, positive and genuinely caring. The views were like paradise, and waking up to them every day was something truly special. I only wish I could have stayed longer! Thank you for making my stay so memorable."

"I stayed here because it was pet-friendly - I brought my cat. The location is ideal because it's right in the center of Kata. I would definitely stay here again."

We took 2 pool villas for a week in late July (low season) and were blessed with the weather.
The location is quiet - and use of the next door larger resort is permitted to The Shore guests (but not the other way around). I cannot remember staying anywhere for business or pleasure where the staff were more helpful.
The in-house restaurant (by the beach) serves excellent food and there are plenty of good, local cuisine, restaurants within walking distance serving excellent local fare at very...

We had a lovely stay, staff were amazing and so hospitable everyone was so friendly. The hotel was beautiful and so picturesque, with great amenities. There is also a free shuttle service that brings you into the main town also which is extremely helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Fantastic location with lots to do in the resort and facilities to go explore the rest of the island.
The resort is absolutely huge with 5 pools, 5 restaurants and a few bars. It is located on Kata Noi beach which is a bit isolated meaning most of the visitors to the beach will be from the resort and so it was comparatively quiet on the beach. The beach itself is public and the hotel's property includes pools right next to the beach so you can plant yourself on a...

We first stayed at the Hilton Arcadia some years ago but were pleased to return. Every member of staff was welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We would certainly return.

No complaints at all about the hotel. 8 minutes walking distance from the beach, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby and not too far from excursions such as the boat tours, elephant trekking etc. well worth upgrading to the swim up especially as we got 2 nights extra in it for free! Bed was amazingly comfy and the bath tub was the other highlight. Breakfast was amazing as there was such a choice and it was all delicious. Hotel staff very nice but at times contradictory as they all jump...

Very nice hotel. Lovely breakfast.
Nice pool with swim-up bar. Good local area for shops and restaurants.
Yes, there's a bit of a hill - only takes 1 minute to walk up though so don't let any reviews put you off.
Beach is an easy 5 minute walk away, and reception will even lend you beach mats.

We only had a short stay here for 2 nights but we were seriously impressed. The beach front location is amazing. A sea view room with the best views of the sunset. The rooms are clean, staff friendly. Breakfast had so much choice (I’m a picky eater). The pool area has plenty of sunbeds. Outside the hotel grounds are so may restaurant options, shops to stock up on snacks and drinks. I would definitely return.

We travelled to Phuket for the first time for our honeymoon, and although we were both anxious and excited, I can truly say we were blown away by our stay at Point Yamu.
From the moment we arrived till the morning of our departure the staff were nothing short of marvellous and they made our stay at Point Yamu all the more special. We stayed in a Verandah Pool Suite (153) and would greatly recommend this to anyone. Before I mention anything else, the dream views and total serenity at Point...

Have just returned from a 6 night stay at the Anantara and it exceeded our expectations in all respects. I think the Thai people are one of the nicest peoples in the world and when combined with the superb service at the Anantara, it is a recipe for a marvellous holiday. The staff really were fantastic - they couldn't have been any better.
I think for a short stay of up to a week or so then the Anantara can't be beaten - for a longer stay I might possibly choose one of the hotels further...
