"The property’s rural location is fabulous and offers outstanding views across Snelling beach. The ambience is lovely and the property is well equipped. Each pod is well separated from its neighbour. The bed is very comfortable and there is absolute silence at night. Our two night stay was delightful. However, as it is off grid there is no microwave, toaster or washing machine. We were disappointed there were no coat hangers to hang our clothes. It would be advisable to take some insect repellant as we had quite a few mosquitoes gain entry on our last night."

"This place is all about the location, which really is spectacular. We loved the uninterrupted ocean views and private access to the beach which we were able to enjoy mostly to ourselves (occasionally saw the odd person from a neighbouring house). As another reviewer mentioned, you're paying for the location. The house itself is a bit tired and the photos do tend to show it's best side, and not the older bathroom and kitchen. We did have one issue with the power having gone out before we arrived due to a lightening strike. Obviously out of the owner's control, but still problematic when the water pump relies on electricity. We ended up having power back on that evening but no water. It was only in the morning that we worked out for ourselves the pump and water valves had all been turned off so we unnecessarily spent a night without water, including no flushing toilet. This put a damper on the start of our trip, although it was better once we had running water again."

"Great comfy accommodation with modern facilities including bbq and fireplace, heater and electric blankets to keep you warm. No wifi and no dishwasher though. Has all the little things you need to prepare meals. Good central location on the island to visit the main attractions. "
