Wonderful Family Vacation

We just had a wonderful stay in the villa at the Montage. We loved the villa and property. We had 5 kids (cousins) ages 11-16 and they absolutely loved the bunk room. The 2 master bedrooms were perfect for the 4 adults. There was a nice little patio, but we didn’t use it much since you don’t get a view of anything. The pools on the property were a huge highlight for the kids. They are open 24/7 so the kids loved the free rein they had. The beach is a 5-7 minute walk and our kids preferred the pool since the beach was so rocky. Having a laundry room in the villa was amazing. We had cleaning service come in 3x during our week stay, but it wasn’t a true hotel cleaning service. They would come in and replenish the towels and make the beds in the 2 masters and remove the garbage. That’s it. They didn’t clean the bathrooms or wipe down the kitchen or organize anything. We are neat people so it didn’t really bother us, but it wasn’t a true “cleaning” service. Our one major complaint was that we were supposed to get a rental car with our booking. In every email we got it said our rental car was “confirmed” so when we arrived in Maui we asked where it was. Well there wasn’t one. We were told “all the rental cars are booked for the whole month of December.” That was a major disappointment and shock since there was no communication from KBM on this and it was part of our contract. They also didn’t even care when we called to tell them and made no effort to resolve the situation.

LOVE this place !! Our favorite

We came out for our 3rd time to stay at the Montage . It is our FAVORITE place to stay . We have a family of 8 and we love the set up , the ability to do so may different activities and the beauty of the area . We love that we have the able to cook in the room and not eat out every meal . The property is on the first floor and you can walk to the pool Or get to the hiking areas pretty easily as well as the area to snorkel. LOVED it .
