From snorkeling with the sea turtles in pristine waters on white sandy beaches, or taking in the beautiful views while whale watching from the Kapalua coastal trail, this property has so much to offer! The Ridge Villas were originally built in 1980 and were designed to blend into the terraced hillside overlooking the beauty of Kapalua’s coastline. The property sits above the Bay Villas and is a short drive from shops, markets and restaurants in Kapalua. Conveniently located minutes from world-renowned golf courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali and steps from shops, markets and restaurants in Kapalua, the Ridge Villas are surrounded by everything you would need on your Maui vacation. This property is also just a few minutes from Napili and Kahana for more dining pleasures and just a few miles away from the excitement of Kaanapali Resort. This unit proudly features: • 1BD / 2 BA (king, and queen sofa sleeper) • Ocean Views toward Molokai and Honolua Bay • Fully Equipped Kitchen • This condo has NO Air-conditioning • Washer/Dryer • WIFI in the condo • Spacious with over 1,150 sq.ft • Split level – living room/ kitchen downstairs, bedroom upstairs (must use stairs up to enter front door) • Sandy beaches just a 5min.drive away or a 15 min. walk The Ridge Villa location has breathtaking ocean views of the islands of Molokai, Lanai and Honolua Bay. This villa has high ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer. Located on the property are two heated swimming pools, gas barbecues and recreation areas for the convenience of owners and guests. Free reserved covered parking and free WIFI are also included. Whether you're looking for a relaxing vacation or fun-filled getaway, or the perfect quiet and quaint spot to rejuvenate. End your Maui vacation days relaxing with your favorite beverage either on the beach or sitting on your own private lanai. One of the many amenities offered at the Kapalua Resort is the free shared shuttle service around the resort. Daily from 7a-11pm, this shuttle is an on-call service that runs from the hotels, villas, golf courses and restaurants. Typically it is suggested you call about 15min ahead of time and wait outside your pick up area. If you are at an establishment in Kapalua, feel free to ask an employee there to call on your behalf. This shuttle will not take guests to/from the airport. Kapalua Resort Shuttle partners with Speedi Shuttle who offers transportation to/from the airports. Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. The views are fantastic and the constant breeze through the house were great (you don't need AC at this location). The house was plenty big for a family of 4 and we used the balconies often. The home is located off the 2nd/3rd hole of the Bay course at Kapalua. It was fun to go up to the tee box and watch people tee off on the 3rd tee. Other families had left beach chairs for the house which was awesome to have. We left 2 boogie boards that should be available you to you as well. The beaches nearby are top notch and there are a lot of solid restaurant choices. The only issue we had was later in our stay some small ants did appear in a few different places in the house (we didn't spill anything). Just be aware that could happen, the property manager said this is the tropics and it happens... ##### Andy L. Great property and management company. It is on the second hole, so 5am mowers a couple of days. A minor issue occurred and was dealt with within hours. We have stayed here before and aware of no a/c, don’t need it, now, you must sign several legal documents. These condos were built in 1980, of course there is wear. Drapes dirty and carpet needs to be replaced. Location and view and pools are why we stay. ##### Linda N. It has a spectacular view and is close to our favorite snorkeling spot: Kapalua Bay.Needed Improvement: It's an old construction and has had modest upgrades over the years. One needed improvement is replacement of the master bedroom ceiling fan. It makes an annoying and loud "TICK-TICK-TICK" ALL the time, whether on or slightly moving from the wind. Great location, spectacular view, comfortable, and well cared for!There's one maintenance item that really needs attention: the ceiling fan in the upstairs master bedroom needs to be replaced. It makes a VERY LOUD "tick-tick-tick" noise when it's on and even when it's off while the winds rock it slightly. Ear plugs aren't enough to sleep peacefully. We've heard this loud tick on each of our last three or four stays, and finally decided to reach out and hope for it to be fixed. On this recent JUN 2021 stay we were able to temporarily stop the noise by draping three bath towels on one of the blades. That caused the whole fan to pivot from vertical to the side and the tick noise stopped. Reviewer Comments: First the good part - outstanding views!!! Very serene and quiet community. We enjoyed the peace! Sunrises were spectacular from the balcony! Napili ( calm clear water beach is 5 min by car) . Kitchen had everything we needed to cook - including champagne glasses- thank u so much for stocking it well! Now just a small hiccup..Although the property was clean - bed sheets are soooo old and dingy looking. And did not fit properly on the bed .. 3 pillows were different sizes .. just no appeal to bed whatsoever...Blanket had few stains on it... Just because of that I could not recommend it to my friends- despite the fantastic views.
