The space is well appointed and very comfortable with screened and open verandas. I could say much more, but one thing that I must share is the owner/management were responsive and most accommodating when we requested one more nights stay due to my last minute booking error. The place is kept very clean and it is a beautiful location that almost feels like being in a treehouse from the lanai. The bird life and sounds were awesome! There were also a small familyp of wild pigs that I scared off when attempting to get my camera out quietly, the horses are friendly and sweet. We would love to come back as this was one of our favorite places in the area. It was what we expected and wanted. Very very nice and peaceful. Lovely view . The cooking is rustic, but that was okay with us. The only problem was the gate, the code had one more digit than the email had. It was otherwise correct. Luckily, someone came behind us and gave us the right code. We will be recommending the Banana House to our guests who may want to stay on the other side of the island. Each night the frogs sang us to sleep and in the morning the birds sang us awake. There were a few water issues that were cleared up and communication with Marc and Carmela was great.
