Seashore paradise!
Beautiful condo right on the beach! Clean and beautifully decorated. Full kitchen with everything you would need to cook. Comfortable king size bed with air conditioning unit in room for cooler climate for sleeping. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels all available for a fun day at the beach, oh and snorkeling gear. Excellent communication with host’s, Regina and Scott. Eastern shore location perfect for touring Southern and Northern shores easily. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Overall a wonderfully experience! We will definitely come back to this parade on the beach!

Great property with amazing views!
We had a great time staying at this condo! The balcony was very comfortable and had amazing views. The room was clean with had plenty of space for us. The listing says it has A/C, which ended up being a single unit in the bedroom that can't be left running while you're away. However, the airflow from the balcony and front-door windows kept us cool enough while spending time in the kitchen/living room. The only other thing we were a little surprised by was how the beach area around the building was very murky/muddy which is not recommended for swimming. Otherwise, we loved staying here!

Amazing experience!
We had an amazing experience. It was super clean and well located. The view of the ocean is amazing and from the living room you can only see the ocean which feels like a cruise ship. Will definitely stay again. Make sure you try the bakery across the street.

Exactly as described, everything met our needs. Enjoyed meals on the lanai watching surfers, turtles, and sunrises. Great location, 30 minutes either way led to great activities. Amazing breeze from front and back of condo/building. Appreciates the ceiling fans and other fans available. Enjoyed dinner at Coconut Market and bringing it back to to the condo as well. Great place for souvenirs as well. Owners were communicative and gave great instructions. Absolutely would recommend.

This condo is in a very convenient location. We loved watching the sunrises and surfers from the lanai. The kitchen is well supplied for preparing any meal. There are beach chairs, umbrella and even snorkel gear. We drove into Lihue several times and made very good use of Lydgate Beach Park, which is close. The only caviat is the lack of central air conditioning; there is an air conditioner in the bedroom, but the bedroom door must be kept closed when it is on. It was hot and humid early in our visit, and while the many fans were appreciated, the only cool air was in the bedroom. Traffic is busy close to the condo complex entrance, so you have to adjust your driving pattern to find the best way to make a left hand turn. All in all, this is a wonderful condo, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Everything about this condo was “as advertised.” Right on the ocean. Beautiful views. An easy walk to restaurants and shops. And the place has everything including beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and a small beach cooler. I’d 100% stay there again!

Absolutely wonderful! Our best stay yet at Wailua Bay View
We've stayed at this location on two previous visits to Kauai. However, Regina and Scott were the absolute best and I'm so glad we came upon their listing. The units at WBV are all very similar but it was the little things that made this unit so special. They welcomed us with tasty treats upon arrival and had the perfect amenities to make our stay so easy. We loved having the beach chairs, umbrella, and mini cooler ready for us...which we used every single day of our stay. Of course, the lanai and views at WBV are spectacular and we especially loved the location of this unit, being right at the top of the center stairs (2nd floor) closest to the ocean with no obstruction from other units on the sides. I believe what I appreciated most was the communication with the owners. They communicated so well every step along the way. This is a problem we've had with other WBV owners. I had started by looking at the newly renovated unit right next door and had messaged the owner three times through VRBO, with NO RESPONSE at all. Then, the last time we stayed at WBV, there was potential severe weather coming and we reached out to the owners about any special care we should take with the room if the weather hit. After a delayed response, that owner didn't even know they owned the unit we were staying in. On the contrast, Regina and Scott were absolutely involved and quickly responded to all messages. It was an amazing anniversary trip and we would definitely choose this unit again!

Great location
This small condo was perfect for us. We loved our water view. While the constant sounds of waves seemed loud at first, we quickly adapted to it and found it to be soothing. Highly recommend visiting Waimea Canyon for its spectacular views. The Kauai National Tropical Botanic Garden tour, while pricey, was fabulous and a highlight for us. Nearby Lyndgate Park was a lovely beach with opportunities for protected swimming but also had access to the open ocean. It was not nearly as crowded as Poipu Beach and had some shade opportunities.

The ocean view is amazing here!
The owners were very on top of things when we had a few minor issues. The location is very close to some outstanding restaurants, a local grocery and drug store, and coffee shops and gift stores. The Island is small, so navigating it and going to amazing sights is very doable. I can still see and hear the sound of the ocean at night when I go to sleep.

We had a bit of trouble finding it since the listing says Wailua House Lots and the actual sign on the property says Wailua Bay View. A great marketplace with shops and restaurants within walking distance, and a gorgeous view.

Best Sunrise of Trip!
This condo is in a perfect location to do day trips to any side of the island! Its also close and convenient to get to from the airport in Lihue. There is an excellent vew looking down the east side of the island with spectacular sunrises if you get up early to see them. The condo itself was very clean, was comfortable and was well stocked with kitchen supplies, perfect if you want to do some cooking at home to save some money! Lots of stuff within walking distance, multiple beaches, kayaking the Wailua River, shopping centers, grocery and the historic section of Kapa'a. It was a great place to stay!

Rare find in Kapp'a!
What I loved about this apartment is the ocean view and the privacy. From our balconey, we never saw another soul, so it felt like our own, romantic hideaway. It is within walking distance to several good restauarants, and Kapa'a itself is central to many island adventures. There is an air conditioner in the bedroom, but we did not need to use it as the ocean breeze also keeps things cool. The kitchen is well equipped, and I really appreciated the washer and dryer unit in the apartment. Overall, I felt that the listing was accurate, and I was very satisfied.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your condo! It was clean, comfortable , well stocked and a great central location to explore all areas of Kauai . We walked to a different restaurant every night for dinner and enjoyed the bakery across the street for coffee & treats after our morning stroll on the beach. Having snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler available was an added bonus along with the welcome snacks. Will be back next year. 🏝️ Local contacts were also very nice & helpful.

We loved everything about this condo except for the heat. The listing is correct that there is an AC unit in the bedroom only. The kitchen and living room got to be very warm in the afternoon and evening. Might not be as much of an issue if you are staying in non-summer months. But, we loved it so much that we'd probably stay again if we ever get the chance. Thank you!

Overall, a decent condo for the price. However, the noise from the highway is a bit much at times. Also, the condo is a bit dated and there is a quite a bit of humidity, even for Kauai. The carpet is old and has a bit of a smell.

Thank you Melissa for choosing our little piece of paradise for your trip to Kauai! And thank you also for booking two extra nights with us! We are glad that you liked the price of our condo. We are sorry to hear that you felt our carpet was dated. The carpet is actually only 18 months old, and we have an extra soft cushion underneath. We were just there visiting in April right before you checked in, and we did not notice any negative smells, and our housekeeper has not said anything about that, but we have asked her to check on it. Our housekeeper would have gladly stopped by to check on the carpet during your stay, had we been notified of your concern during your visit. We are not sure what noise you were hearing, as our condo is not located on the road. We are some distance away from a three-lane road, but If you are in the living room or kitchen or on our outdoor lanai, it's hard to hear much more than the ocean. If you are in the bedroom, you should not hear any noise if you keep the sound-proof windows in the bedroom shut. We also have an air conditioner in the bedroom and multiple fans in the bedroom and living room that are used to help keep the unit cool, but the air conditioner and fans have the added benefit of blocking out noise, if there happens to be any. Our condo complex is usually very quiet and peaceful. Had we known that you were hearing noise, we would have gladly made sure that you were shutting the bedroom windows and using the fans. We appreciate that when you booked our condo, you said that it looked lovely. Our photos do accurately reflect the condition of our condo, and we are glad you to know that you liked the photos. Kauai does get humid because it's an island that is surrounded by the ocean. Some times it is more humid than at other times. The weather is something we unfortunately cannot control. My sister and I spent a full week here, and wee were very pleased with the condo. The constant breeze and view from the unit was wonderful. The grounds were well kept with the efforts of the manager on site. The location was perfect as it allowed us good travel times both the the north and south portions of the island. We would be thrilled to book with Regina & Scott again for a future trip! Mahalo!!

The condo was clean and perfect for us. The view of the ocean was spectacular. We were able to watch surfers, turtles, and local fisherman. The only drawback was being right off the main highway which was very noisy when sleeping.

We are so sorry to hear that you had an issue with noise at night. Our unit is not located on the road. However, because we are some distance from a three-lane street, we do have soundproofing windows in the bedroom to block out any noise that guests might otherwise hear at night. We also have an air conditioner and fans in the bedroom to keep the unit cool, and those will also block out noise that a guest might possibly hear at night. When we close the windows and use the fan, we sleep comfortably and without hearing any noise. Had we known that you were having an issue with this during your stay, we would have been happy to make sure you were shutting the soundproof windows and using the fans. We had a wonderful time at this unit. Super convenient to all areas of Kauai, easy to grab coffee, dinner, groceries or odds and ends. Saw whales breaching from the lanai with AM coffee. Went for a great run up and down the running path nearby. Served an excellent basecamp with more than typical odds and ends available to make the stay and cooking easier. Would happily stay again. We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks in Regina & Scott’s clean, well cared for, well appointed and scenic condo on the east coast of Kauai. It proved to be the perfect place to stay during some inclement weather, a beautiful view of the ocean and waves and a balcony nicely sheltered from the rain. Similar to all the other positive reviews, we have no complaints and Regina (and Marvis on site) did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. A quiet, scenic and fabulous condo!

A Gem in Paradise
This was our our 3rd stay at this complex. The unit was furnished nicely and was quite comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed to successfully prepare simple or gourmet meals. The view was spectacular. There is really no need to leave the apartment. It has everything, but the ever changing, unobstructed ocean views cannot be beat. The one drawback, and it may be temporary, was that the traffic flow made it a challenge to get in and out of the property, especially when trying to return from the north. The ongoing construction made it especially challenging. We also noted that the overall property was nicely maintained, making the whole experience a pleasure. Both the overall property management team and the individual unit management was very responsive and helpful.

Location and Value - All in One
This property is a great getaway for anyone who loves the ocean and is on a budget. Unparalleled ocean view right off the balcony with waves, surfers, and a great view of the beach! We enjoyed the fresh ocean breeze through the condo during the day with the comfort of AC at night. Just a short walk to Lydgate Beach park offered a protected swimming lagoon and at least a mile of great beach walking. The condo was furnished comfortably with ample space for the two of us, the kitchen was adequately equipped to fix meals (save some $$ on eating out), and parking was easy. The drive to major shopping in Lihue was convenient and quick (as was the drive to the airport early in the morning). It is located in a great central location to all the major sites. Our hosts were responsive and checked on us personally during our stay to make sure we didn't need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The property is ideally located and has some great views of the oceanfront. It's a 3 min drive from Lydgate beach perfect for beginner snorkelers. A lot of great restaurants are minutes away from this place. The apartment had all the amenities as stated and the apartment was super clean with easy check-in and check-out experience.

Great Location
Condo is as listed and is well equipped for a comfortable stay. Central location on the island for visiting either South West or North West. Shops and good restaurants are close by. This Island is truly "The Garden Island". We have now visited all of the major Hawaiian Islands and Kauai is by far my favorite. Most definitely will be back!

Perfect Location
Wailua really is the perfect location for exploration of the whole island accessible by car, although timing is essential for avoiding traffic backup going either north or south. Plenty of restaurants and beach access in walking range. The unit was comfortable and well appointed - there was nothing we needed which wasn't provided, and we cooked most of our meals at home. The view was perfect, and the only sounds we could hear were of the waves on the beach below. The local condo unit manager Marvis was wonderful, providing much aloha and kokua. The condo property - landscaping, maintenance and pool area were immaculate. It is obvious that the property manager Mark has a good eye for detail and loves his job. We had a/c in the bedroom which made it possible to enjoy a good night's sleep, and tradewinds kept the apartment bearable for most of the day.
