Special! Stay 2 nights and receive a third night free! Conditions apply. Treetops is a 3 bed, 2 bath home situated up amongst the trees in the heart of Kangaroo Valley village.The large entertaining deck enjoys complete privacy whilst offering sweeping views across valley and is the perfect place to meet the friendly local birds. The open plan living and dining area has cathedral ceilings, reverse duct air conditioning and a combustion log fire making Treetops the ideal country escape whatever the season. For your convenience we supply complimentary firewood upon arrival; May to September. The lounge room offers comfortable lounge seating for six with a TV and DVD player, a library of DVD's and books and family games. The master bedroom is loft style with a queen bed and offers a private balcony with stunning views across the valley and escarpment. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a newly added en-suite bathroom and the third bedroom has a double bed. All rooms are beautifully light and airy with fans for the summer and heaters and extra cosy blankets for the cooler months. The main bathroom has a bath and separate shower plus there are two further toilets. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the entertaining deck and features new appliances including a dishwasher. In addition, the deck has a Weber barbeque for alfresco cooking and dining. Treetops is situated in the village with its quaint collection of cafes, shops and the local pub. Please note that access is via a set of stairs. \* For last minute bookings, please call our office. Great house; except it was disgustingly dirty - general cleaning (floors/surfaces etc) was ok, however any ongoing cleaning and maintenance was not done, which is not acceptable at 600 per night:\_Dirty windows (after all the views are a key sales pitch for this house)\_Dirty terraces, floor boards need painting and nails sticking out, green tarnishing, pot plants all dead, seats and furniture needed a scrub\_Thick dust film on fridge, accessories \_Spider webs everywhere \_Tree litter and thick soil in tracks of terrace doors/windows\_External window sills dirty and mouldy\_Plants in garden dying\_One of the bathrooms had a nice upgrade, but now showing rust ring in new basin, air vent disgustingly dirty, silicone gaps mouldy\_Sinks in one of the bathrooms blocked \_Cupboards in kitchen have new surface and fronts, but internally some of the old shelving, which was dirty and smelly\_Sofas with sweat & pee? marks on arms and surfaces. We covered them up with blankets to use them at all. Cushions similarly dirty. \_One of the beds squeaking with every move\_Kitchen place mats dirty\_Some bowls, light shades … damaged\_Bin tread & fridge vegetable shelf broken \_Backyard neglected and unusable We sent images to the property manager with the state of the house, as they promised to send it on to the owner. 10 days later - no response.If this property was clean and maintained, it would be such an amazing place to stay. Stayed here over New Year and loved it! The house is lovely and peaceful with amazing views across the valley. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a BBQ out on the deck, which is perfect for sundowners. Only comment would be there is no Wi-Fi but mobile reception is good, so didn't really matter. Lots to do in the area, when you walk out of the house, turn left there is a great river swimming spot under the bridge (10 min walk), or turn right and you're 5 mins from the main village with a few good breakfast spots or the The Friendly Inn, which did an amazing firework display on NYE!
