There will be a waiver to sign before booking for insurance purposes. Please keep in mind that the pool is closed during the winter months. Depending on weather, the pool closes around mid-October and opens back up sometime Middle of April to 1st of May. Our pool is weather dependent because it's heated with a heat pump and solar panel. Hot tub is open year round. Guest Access: Keypad lock to open the door. We'll send you a private lock code prior to your reservation. The Neighborhood: Dive Into Adventure is located in the Kanab Creek Ranchos, a very family friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding Kanab. It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has a playground and plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones! There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides (must use the hose for water on the slide), splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Getting Around: This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Other Things to Note: Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. \*\*For the safety of our property and also our guests, we've installed outdoor security cameras around the entire property. No parties allowed, quiet time is from 7am-10pm. Awesome outdoor space with pool, hot tub, fire pit, grill, and wonderful views. The house was large, clean, and up to date with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Loved the large kitchen with higher end appliances. Great Location because we were able to visit Zion, Lake Powell, Horseshoe bend, and Bryce. We had two locations for our vacation this year, and the home we stay in is always an important part of our stay. I love to surprise my wife and children with great homes in cool places. Grand Mesa was spectacular, but we had to leave and make a very long drive for stage two of our vacation. When we pulled up to this beautiful home in Kanab, the road weary blues vanished. Spectacular is once again the best description of this home and property. The space was perfect for two families- spacious kitchen, separate bedroom areas so both families had privacy, awesome location, and it was super clean. The home boasted additional amenities including an ice maker (great for packing coolers), reverse osmosis water, upgraded appliances in the kitchen for cooking, dual washers and dryers, and the most comfortable master bed of any vrbo we've ever stayed at. The kiddos loved the pool and hot tub, and the host had plenty of pool towels for us to use which was an added bonus. We visited Grand Canyon, Bryce, & Zion National Parks, and this was the perfect, central location. We were no more than 2 hours from any park. We also rented side by sides and did a guided tour with Kanab Tour Company (which was amazing) and hiked up to the Sand Caves as well. Our friends visited the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and had great things to say about their experience there too. Loved this place and the area- beautiful home that was perfect for our stay. ##### Trista L. A perfect location to explore southern Utah and northern Arizona. We had 2 families staying together and the house was a perfect setup for that. The great room for gathering and the game room for the kids. The pool was fantastic and so much fun to spend time in after hiking at nearby trails/hikes.
