Seeds Hotel Kuala Selangor
3.0 star property
Kuala Selangor
4.8 out of 10, (3 reviews)
"Booked a family room for 3 adults plus a kid. So essentially they had 4 single beds made to look like 2 queens, all lined up side-by-side. In effect 4 people are sleeping together in one gigantic bed. And there was no space to even split the beds much less to walk without tripping. TV reception was terrible as the images were blurred and we can barely get any decent audio through the static. Further, the walls must be porous as we can easily hear people walking and talking outside, and they...

"The only thing this property has going for it is the location and proximity to Setia Convention Center. Rooms are very basic and well worn. The bathrooms had mold in them. The kitchen had 3 plates, 1 bowl, 2 mugs and 3 spoons and forks. The fridge was rusty, there was food scraps under my bed. The sofa was well worn. The towels were thin. It is a very basic room. As a westerner travelling, this would be a 1 or 2 star rating. But given our room.was better than some of the others in the complex I...

Also across the road from Bukit Malawati which we visited. Don't expect extra comfort and luxury for the price, but clean safe and convenience. And the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Kampung Sungai Sembilang?
The best area to stay in Kampung Sungai Sembilang is along the coastline, particularly around the Bagan Sungai Sembilang jetty area.

This area offers direct access to the sea and the activities associated with it. It's a small, focused community, with most guesthouses and local eateries situated close to the water's edge. You'll find the main jetty, where fishing boats depart, and local seafood restaurants clustered here.

Couples looking for a relaxing getaway will appreciate the laid-back pace and the chance to enjoy fresh seafood by the water. The proximity to the jetty means easy access to boat trips for fishing or exploring the nearby mangrove forests. It's a peaceful spot for those wanting to unwind away from the city.

For solo travellers interested in local culture and nature, staying near the jetty provides opportunities to observe daily life and easily arrange activities like birdwatching or exploring the natural surroundings.
When is the best time to go to Kampung Sungai Sembilang?
The best time to go to Kampung Sungai Sembilang is during the dry season, which typically runs from May to September, to enjoy the most agreeable weather conditions.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and lower humidity, making it more comfortable for outdoor activities like exploring the wetlands or enjoying the local seafood. The seas are generally calmer, which is ideal if you're planning any boat trips or mangrove tours. This period is particularly good for families looking for a relaxing break without the disruption of heavy downpours.

Travellers interested in birdwatching will also find the dry season favourable. While birds are present year-round, the clearer skies and more stable weather make for better viewing opportunities, especially around the wetlands and coastal areas.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Kampung Sungai Sembilang.
