Great place.

Lovely place beautiful outlook over the river. Easy walking distance to main area where the old fish market is. Staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent good prices too. I would stay again.

The Bungalows are a great place to stay, just away from the buzz but close enough to be in walking distance of everything in Kampot. The room is not luxurious or anything, but clean and a bargain for the price. Staff are very helpful and happy to help where they can.

Tolle Unterkunft. Top Personal. Es ist nicht auf dem Land und war daher etwas lauter. War aber echt kein Problem für uns. Dafür kann man Kampot zu Fuß leicht erreichen.

A comfortable room in a treed and garden setting. The booking site implied a river view. Alas, the is only one room with such a view.

This property is a construction site! I arrived late Friday night and by 6:30 the next morning (Saturday) the hammering was in full swing, electric saws were making a racket; steel pipes were being thrown to the ground! What a mess - why would Expedia deal with this property?! We changed hotels Saturday morning! Aside from the noise, the “beach” was full of plastic and other debris- complete mess.

Good hotel cose to the town centre.

Good value riverside accommodation, an easy walk into town. Comfortable, quiet rooms, good service. For us the food was average but the breakfast was good. Go into town for lunch or dinner, better food options.

Séjour à Kampot .

L’hôtel n’est pas très loin du centre ville, à peine 5 minutes à pied . Le personnel est sympathique et serviable mais le prix des chambres et beaucoup trop cher par rapport aux prestations , aucune en fait . Visite intéressante la plantation de poivre du même nom : la Plantation.

Petit coin de paradis à Kampot.

Endroit très agréable. Musique un peu forte parfois le soir. On y mange très bien mais les quantités peuvent varier d'un jour à l'autre pour le même plat. La télévision fonctionne très mal

No need to have too much expectation

We booked a bangalow for 3people to enjoy a kind of wild and natural atmosphere, but when we arrived, we were told that they had had stopped booking for it and given the notification to the agencies. We had to accept a normal room with one double bed, they put an extra mat on the floor. The staff was friendly, this room had aircon, fridge and tea maker, the bathroom was not so small with basic amenities, though there was no safety box. The garden was nice and neat, but some bangalows were under construction, and the property was not cleaned up enough. There is a restaurant and a bar in front of the river with comfortable breeze. I reported it and asked to refund the difference to Expedia customer survice, but they are ignorering it. I don't know which side had a fault, the hotel or Expedia, though at least they should reply to the customer's inquiry.

Lovely hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed

Having read previous reviews prior to our stay we were a bit dubious as to what to expect. However from the moment we turned up we enjoyed staying in the hotel. Although there was a town wide powercut for the evening the staff were extremely apologetic even though it was not their fault and provided us with candles. Please note: if you are looking for a hotel to relax on the beach then this is not the one for you. I can only assume the majority of the negative reviews are from such guests. The staff are very friendly and they so speak English, this has a very authentic bar area and the fruit breakfast is decent.

Tired and worn down

Really not one of those places you would want to spend your time. The setting on the river bank is beautifull but the rest is falling apart. That goes for buildings, bathrooms and the overall service - or lack of same - that you receive.

A gem

Just a few minutes from the busy Khmer life, this is a great spot to drink lime juice and watch the fishermen and paddle boarders go by. The food is amazing and the bungalows are uniquely done!

Resort closest to the downtown

Good: Staff quite helpful. The environment is quite good. Bad: The room does not have telephone. Cannot contact the staff for assistance in the mid-night. No wifi. The breakfast is quite expensive. Some karaoke noise from nearby can be heard.

A pleasant place to stay.

Natural Bungalows was a pleasant place to stay, a 10 minute walk from the main bars and restaurants. We did have to ask to change rooms after the first night as the toilet in the bathroom was leaking meaning that the bathroom floor was constantly wet. We were relocated with no fuss and the new room was fine. The staff were pleasant and the restaurant well located overlooking the river. My only concern is that there was no in-room safe which is stated to be the case on hotels.com; this needs to be changed.

had to move rooms after the first night - first room (bungalow) was very old, had no outside lights working, no extractor fan in bathroom working, nowhere to hang towels, missing light in dressing table, inadequate place to put clothes. and this was a bungalow. general first impression poor. second room was much better, and newer.

Nice place to stay with a few improvements needed

We stayed 3 nights at Natural bungalows in a private bungalow. The room was large and clean - upstairs We found what it said they had on hotels.com was not correct. No in room safe (which is one of the main reasons we picked this accomodation) No minibar - there was a fridge but it was on the same circuit as the power and turned off when you took your key out. Only 1 pillow in the room for a queen size bed - we didn't complain about this as we had our own pillows and Im sure they would have fixed the issue if we did. You can't tell who is staff and who is not as they have no uniform. And the service is quite slow at the bar and restaurant but the setting on the river was amazing. Breakfast was good $2 - $3 eggs and baguette. We hired a moto from the hotel $6 to head up the bokor range which was fantastic. Overall nice place to stay just a few improvements needed.

Kampot is amazing

Kampot as a town is beautiful and made our stay at Natural Bungalows enjoyable however, if i were to be rating forgetting what a nice place Kampot is my review wont reflect this. Badly lit, designed, fitted out rooms. For the money i would have at least liked a river view. We were put in VIP1 (paid for also) which means on the driveway with staff cars and scooters underneath? Staff were not really interested in being there or helping pur visitors. Shame, could be good.
