Fat Barbies bar is closed in the low season, April - September, so you can use the bar area for your own personal use. A cheap, clean place to rest after a day exploring Kampot. Stay in a traditional 1960's French villa. If you require the best choice of food in Kampot walk across the road to the old market. If you require live music walk 100 metres up the street. If you require Kampot's river beach and river front attractions walk 50 metres past the live music venues. You do not need a motorbike to explore Kampot as everything is so close to Candy Pepper homestay. If you wish to visit Bokor mountain, Kep and secret lake (Yes I can tell you why it is called secret lake,) then a rental bike can be organised. He was there to personally greet me with a cold beer upon my arrival and took the time to get me settled in. I was happy to find the accommodation was exactly as advertised.
