"I don’t even know where to start with this place. My wife and I came to Keemala to celebrate our fifth anniversary, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like we’d stepped into a dream. The air was fresh, the sound of the forest was everywhere, and there was this peaceful energy that made us slow down right away. Our villa host, March, deserves the biggest thank you. He had this way of knowing what we needed before we even asked—checking in on us without ever intruding, making sure we were always comfortable, and just being such a kind presence during our stay. Every other staff member we met was the same—genuine smiles, thoughtful touches, and the kind of hospitality that doesn’t feel forced. The villa itself was incredible. Waking up to the view outside our window, having coffee by the pool, hearing the birds in the morning—it’s the kind of setting that makes you forget about everything else. Everything from the layout to the small details was spot-on. We came here hoping for a special anniversary trip, and we left with something so much more—memories we’ll keep for the rest of our lives. Keemala, you’ve set the bar very high for every trip we take from now on."

"From the moment we arrived at Thavorn Resort, we were swept away by the stunning grounds, warm hospitality, and tranquil vibes. This resort is truly a hidden gem nestled along a beautiful stretch of beach—perfect for anyone seeking both luxury and nature. The lagoon-side pool room was spacious, clean, and steps away from the water. Waking up to the sound of birds and the lush tropical scenery felt like something out of a movie. The swimming pools are some of the best we’ve seen—winding, peaceful, and surrounded by gardens and charming animal statues that make the whole place feel magical. Staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, whether it was arranging transportation, booking tours, or offering local recommendations. The breakfast buffet was full of delicious Thai and Western options, and dining by the sea at their restaurant was a highlight. We especially loved the quiet, relaxed atmosphere compared to busier resorts—perfect for couples or families who want a peaceful stay. And the location? Ideal. Easy to access attractions like Big Buddha, Patong Beach, and the ferry to Phi Phi Islands. Highly recommend staying here, whether it’s your first time in Phuket or your tenth. Thavorn has that rare combination of charm, comfort, and unforgettable views. We’ll definitely be back."

"Stayed here twice sandwiching a trip to Kuala Lumpur. I repeat my comments from my previous review. I cannot rate this hotel to highly. It’s a beautiful setting on the beach. I think it has four swimming pools of course regardless of the facilities, the thing that makes or breaks any establishment is it staff. The people here are lovely and cannot do enough for you. The local resort of Kamala is only five minutes walk away and is a nice quiet strip of restaurants, bars and shops . No excessive noise , go go bars or being pestered . Ideal location for a family or mature people who like a bit of peace and quiet. However, if you want things a bit busier PATONG is only 15 mins away . I have been to Thailand probably 20 times over the last 40 years and this is my favourite hotel."
