"The owner is a great person. Very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. This is a non traditional hotel… in the middle of the forest, no front desk, no wi-fi but very nice if you want to be close to the nature. walk distance to a beautiful lake. Far from Klapeida (around 40 min drive). It will be great if had an microwave in the shared kitchen."

"Guboja was in right in Nida town, with all the restaurants, supermarkets, transport and all the amenities nearby. The location was convenient enough. Reception staff was good and helpful, although the reception was not 24 hours. The bed was comfortable, but the wall of room was paper thin. I could hear the sound of water from the lagoon in the evening. The guest house knew that so earplugs were provided. Wifi reception was good in all areas. There were plenty of seating areas outdoor, but...

"I have stayed in this hotel in the past, when they still had reception and breakfast, ant the stay was great. Therefore, I booked it again, and have to say, now the feeling is like living in student dormitory. Rooms require maintenance, shower had mould between the tiles and rusty service box, ceiling was wet, etc. So if you need just a night stay somewhere quick, then it is fine, but I would not book holiday stay in this place. "

"Biggest complaint is towards Hotels.com way of dealing with reservations - they do not provide direct number to call. It is an old apartment building that remind of communal apartments back in 60ies in Soviet time and there are NO mention of River apartments on outside of building or anywhere inside if you get past door lock with a code. Only way to reach owners and get instruction on how to get into building and get keys is by calling a Hotels.com number - in USA. I after getting really upset...

"overpriced hotel - 1 night / 200 eur for standard room! not even breakfast in price ! all clearn and nice - great selfcheck in. hard to get taxi here to and restaurant does not offer food after 21.00! only beer - not a best traveler choise "

The interiors are renovated from a very old warehouse, featuring wooden beams from Venice. A+ for the designer! I'm an experienced traveler, and I can confidently say this is a top-tier hotel. Oh, and yes — the location is perfect!"
