"The good stuff: Clean property in an excellent location, inside a historical building. But updated to a good degree. We were also upgraded to the Suite upon arrival. The staff was courteous. Internet connection was good. Bed was comfy. Room was super quiet (almost, see last paragraph). The not so good: the suite is basically an attic split into one and a half floors, with the top floor being a very low ceiling. So low, if you stood up after using the toilet, you would bang your head. If you're a guy, forget standing up. The floors pace was very generous but the furniture and room amenities were mediocre. A lot of unused space. Due to the nature of the room, there were only two skylights and no view. Room's lighting fixtures' dimming didn't work well. The bad: our shower was dripping all the time. No way to shut it off completely. We tried all different combinations. We also told the reception staff and they did not fix it or offer any follow up whatsoever. To compound the shower issue, the floor in the bathroom is sloped with no division between the shower and anything else. So, even one or two drops would make the majority of the floor wet over time. We didn't appreciate getting our feet wet when we went to the bathroom. Lastly, and worst of all, the shower puping would emit a sound I could closely relate to a ship's horn. This happened when the shower was off, at random intervals. Closing the bathroom door helped limit the sound, but did not stop it completely."
