My only suggestion for long stays is a few more utilities, which the property manager provided mid stay, as we stayed 11 night. A few little extras go a long way when staying a couple of weeks. With proper bedrooms, a comfy lounge, a full-sized fridge, and laundry facilities, it provides the comfort and practicality you won’t find in a hotel or resort. It’s perfect for families or anyone who prefers a self-contained space where you can cook, relax, and settle in. While the house exudes rustic charm, it’s clear that some updates and maintenance are a work in progress. The bathroom has been refreshed, and the bedrooms have a fresh coat of paint. However, some issues remain, like water stains on the ceiling in one bedroom and peeling paint in the hallway. These quirks add to the property’s “lived-in” character but may not appeal to everyone. A few functional areas also need attention. The outdoor BBQs are rusted and unsafe to use, the air fryer doesn’t work, and hand towels for the toilet are missing. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic with beautiful views and plenty of space for the dog. The house was pleasant enough however there were quite a few issues which spoiled the experience. The mattresses were simply awful, too soft and no support whatsoever. This caused significant neck, shoulder and back pain and that is unacceptable. There were no detailed instructions on how to operate the oven, there was no hook or towel rack in the toilet for the hand towel. Also, having to BYO firewood is ridiculous - never have I seen this condition in an accommodation facility. There were no extra blankets provided for the bedroom which was very cold.
