- 1.2km away from beach not 750m as it has been mentioned. You are in the middle of fruit plantations.
- On the internet they have a breakfast photo on a beach front. You think they have a private beach. But no. They have a partnership with a beach restaurant. Either you have to walk 1.2km or just drive.

"An outstanding choice in the beautiful rural mountains outside Datça, yet only 10 minutes to the lovely beach in Palamütbükü. The family running the hotel are gracious, friendly and really add a special feeling to staying in the spacious, well-appointed rooms with beautiful views. Breakfast is wonderful (the best menemen eggs in Türkiye!) and the relaxed, quiet nature of this charming place provides the perfect getaway."

"Our stay was fabulous! It is situated on the side of the mountain overlooking the bay of Ovabuku. There is good wifi signal around the bar/reception area but this drops out in the rooms and further out around the grounds. We were there final week of October so as is typical in Turkey, they had begun to empty the pool but as it was something we wanted, they spent two days getting it up and running again which we appreciated very much! "If this hotel included access to the beach, it would be perfect! But for the price, it is excellent: our room was ample, light, and clean. The staff was warm and helpful. It’s near the ferry and bus. And, though the Turkish breakfast is the same every day, it’s fresh and healthy. I make one suggestion: provide chairs, umbrellas, and towels for guests who want to visit the beach, even if there’s a small charge. "
"We stayed at Deniz Hotel at the height of tourist season for a few days in late July/early August. I would highly recommend it for anyone travelling to Datca. It has an excellent location next to Kumluk Plaji and it is also within walking distance of Taslik Plaji (which is better in my opinion). The service at the hotel was really exceptional, particularly providing assistance with parking behind the hotel, which was crowded as it was high season and in general with small requests and questions about the area. The breakfast was also very good. They rooms were also very tidy, comfortable, and cool. In short, highly recommended as a base to explore the peninsula. "
