"Staff was so sweet, specifically the lovely lady at check-in with glasses. Room was clean, view was awesome. Food in the pub was great, just slightly expensive. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The rooms were clean and tidy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious but the parking was a little tight. But all in all it was good because it was easy off and on the freeways."
"We stayed July 21 to 22. We really enjoyed our stay here however there were a few things that could use improvement. The first thing I’ll say is this property seems well maintained however our AC did not work and the front desk girl brought us a fan while I was hoping she could have just transferred us to a room with AC. She said she would get maintenance to get it taken care of tomorrow but we wouldn’t be there tomorrow…she was younger maybe just inexperienced. In the morning we went for breakfast it was later then we should’ve gone breakfast ends at 10 we went in at 9:20 however the breakfast room was out of several things that I would’ve hoped would have been restocked throughout the morning but I had to ask for Milk and creamer also nearly all the forks and coffee cups were out it just seems there could have been more attention here. Other than that the rooms were clean and We were happy with our stay. There are many dining options within walking distance so we were really happy with that as well."
"Stayed here for two nights on a solo business visit. Clatskanie is a very small town, just a couple of restaurants, very pleasant location along the small Clatskanie river, near the Columbia.
Building itself is older and a standard sort of two-star motel. My room was recently renovated and had modern, pleasant furnishings in subdued greys, could have been any Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn out there. Clean, no complaints.
Everything was as expected: Fridge, microwave, toiletries, even housekeeping between nights, which most places don’t do any more. Bed very firm, which works fine for me. Modern AC unit which worked VERY well, even on a day over 90.
Old-style magnetic keycards which were easy to demagnetise (happened twice to me), and didn’t work on exterior doors at all.
Breakfast, well, it was there. Open early which is great. Meat-heavy, some kind of casserole, biscuits and gravy, sausage. If you’re not a ham eater, choices were limited to packaged muffins, bagged bread and bagels from walmart, stale cereal. Coffee was adequate and what you’d expect.
Customers mostly there for work, lots of work trucks in the parking lot, plenty of space. No kids at all. Signs apologizing for construction, but I didn’t hear any. Associated RV park also quiet.
Easy walk to the park and the small downtown area from trails behind the property.
Overall, I’d be happy come back if in the area for work and the price was right."
"We will absolutely be back! We stayed here during a recent trip for a concert at Cascades Amphitheater and were so pleasantly surprised! The hotel is very clean, smelled clean as soon as we entered and you could tell that the room was also clean - bathroom, bedding, surfaces. Definitely a plus that it is in such a nice area, too. There is a Safeway in the same parking lot, as well as a coffee stand and some fast food chains - some 24 hours. Super convenient for post concert nights! Even with the freeway being close, it was quiet. We were on the second floor near the stairway and didn’t have any problem hearing other guests, either. We will definitely be back!"
"Very nice and clean. Helpful staff who got us checked in and out with ease. Breakfast was typical continental style and done well. Loved the hot tub and just how hot it was! Helped me relax after hiking at Rainier earlier."
