Kaka Point Beach

Overall, our stay was outstanding. The staff were exceptional—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. They held our bags and food leftovers for us, helped me figure out the hot drink vending machine, and were very sympathetic when I had an issue with the room lighting, even though they weren’t able to resolve it. The complimentary hot chocolate and lattes were fantastic and ended up being one of the highlights of our stay. I’m glad I saw them mentioned in previous reviews. My only suggestion for improvement would be the smart lighting system. This may have been user error on my part, but I found it difficult to operate. The control panel remained illuminated throughout the night, and the bathroom light kept turning on with no apparent way to override the system. As someone who is very sensitive to light while sleeping, this affected my sleep quality. That said, everything else about the stay was excellent, and the outstanding service from the staff left a very positive impression.

The level of luxury provided at Coronet Ridge is top tier. I was upgraded to the Executive Shotover Suite which was spacious and warmed by fireplace that was double-sided between the lounge and bedroom. The mountain and river views from this suite were superb - possibly some of the best views from accommodation in Queenstown. Arthurs Point is about an 8 minute picturesque drive from the Queenstown waterfront, and is in close proximity to Arrowtown and Ayrburn Winery.The road to Arthurs Point is well maintained and I found it safe to use both day and night. I am so happy that I chose to stay here. It was one of the best stays I have ever experienced. I plan to return as soon as I can.

We stayed at 111. If the bathroom exhaust is not on, the room smells like toilet...it's not pleasant. But the overall experience was amazing, the view, food, staff and facilities.
