If you don't mind driving a few miles, it's just fine. It was roomy, in good condition for it's age, and we thought it was a good value. Beach is directly across the street, less than 100 yards. Balconies face each other, so some might have privacy issues, we did not. The rental experience has been terrible- I just got locked out and then the voice service hung up on me. I don’t know how I’ll get back in to the room - so my one day that I was able to enjoy I had to spend dealing with the situation.
