The place was clean, comfortable, and felt like home. Location was perfect for exploring the Big Island. Since 2020 our family has made it a tradition to visit a different Hawaiian island each year, and this has been one of our favorite stays. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and everything was well taken care of. All they would need to do would be to put out combat roach traps vigilantly all year every year and they wouldn’t have that problem. Two other complaints the mats in the master bathroom need to be changed if they were clean they didn’t look clean. There was a full kitchen and it was nice but all the pans were trash the nonstick coating was completely trashed, and I get it not all guests are competent cooks, but if your going to offer it maybe upgrade to stainless steel so no one can scratch or burn your equipment. Also the tongs were cheap and trash. But the location and the sauna were amazing.
