It boasts a spacious living room and dining area with high speed internet. The fully equipped kitchen has all new appliances and even has a wine refrigerator! Included for your convenience is a stacked washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private bath with double sinks, plenty of storage and a large, walk-in shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and just across the hall is the second bathroom which also has a spacious, walk-in shower. Dine or relax on the private lanai and enjoy a partial ocean view. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lush tropical gardens. Mere steps away from the lanai, you will find for your use a cabana and gas grills with an ocean-front eating area. Free, secure parking is located close to the unit. Casa de Emdeko is a private gated community located on Ali’i Drive, one mile south of Kailua-Kona village, where you can find many shops and restaurants. The condo’s amenities were perfect for us. A completely stocked kitchen, grills in the common area, two pools, sunsets to photograph and great proximity to town and beaches. I booked this property for my 90-year old brother-in-law and his travel partner. They had never stayed in a vrbo before and I elected to book this rather than his request for a 4-star hotel. They both loved the vrbo. She said it was a perfect location for her to walk to town and they both could easily have access to the beach and the pool. Very clean property, and close to downtown. Very comfortable .Make sure you get the gate code before getting to the unit. It can make accessing the condo a bit of a challenge . It was nice having 2 bedrooms so the kids had their own room. Kitchen was well stocked for any cooking we wanted to do. Having pools and an ocean view on the property was wonderful. My kids rate this condo as one of the best ones I have found in a long time! Mom win!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay. The location was perfect for going all over the island. Wish we would have stayed here the entire trip instead of getting hotels in Hilo. Would have been a long drive but we could have done it. ##### Erin C. Which is perfect. You will not want to keep driving into Kona. If you are a runner or walker you are right along the main fairway for your runs. The pools and the sand right beside sea wall are fantastic. We saw whales daily as we hung out on the beach in the provided chairs. Inside the unit. The apt was just as listed. Super clean, great kitchen with lots of supplies. Loved that there was an ice maker and water from the fridge. Showers were excellent. Hope to visit again in the future. ##### bonnie s. It came exactly as described. It was clean, easy to access, and well appointed. We especially enjoyed drinking coffee on the lanai in the early morning and swimming in the salt water pool. The sunsets were a daily event. It was a 1 1/2 to 2 mile walk to the heart of downtown where we watched our daughter start her swim in the Kona Ironman competition. Possible issues included a noisy air-conditioner fan which never cycled off, a missing remote battery, and lack of sponges. If you are looking for beach towels, check the dryer. Arrived and battery on keyless door lock was dead. Called the person of contact and had helped change the battery the next morning. Not a big deal. Condo was pleasantly remodeled with pretty much new everything. Had all the cooking utensils and even spices you'd want. Beach chairs and umbrella were also available. On our last day we tried to contact the property manager and other contact (owner?) to see if we could get a late check out, but neither were accepting our calls...oh well.
