"This could be something so special. The location itself is amazing and the accommodation for ‘camping’ is incredible. The service wasn’t great however. As kind as everyone was the timings were very off. Being told we needed to be ready for breakfast at 8 and not being served till 9.30\. The same for dinner. "Boulder Garden Hotel is the most beautifull hotel I have ever been to. It is located in the middle of a forest. Except for the rooms, everything is in the outside: the restaurant is located below a huge boulder, the swimming pool is in the middle of rocks. The personel is very friendly and helpfull. The food is very good and relatively cheap (our dinner was 12 USD for two). The hotel is very small: there are only 5 or 6 rooms. So nearly all of it is there for you only. I recomend it very much. "

"Upon check-in there was a mix up with the reservation, although this was immediately resolved and we were put in an excellent room right away. The hotel staff also provided a great breakfast and a safe driver to Ella. Would recommend to folks staying the night at Adam's peak. "

"Egentligen ett riktigt coolt ställe. men med svenska kronans värde gentemot dollarn så blir det väldigt dyrt. Bodde bara en natt, men bra mat, god frukost, trevlig personal och trevlig promenad i regnskogen med en guide som kunde och hörde alla djur."

"Beautiful room and location - this guesthouse only features 1 bedroom (a minute walk away from the host's house) and is quite isolated. Perfect to spend time in silence, reading or meditating. There are a few guesthouses a couple of minutes walk and it is literally 5 minute walk from one of the entrances to the national park. The host is wonderful and is a guide himself, - his wife cooks great meals (recommended the vibe rice option)."

"Stay away! It was the worst experience of my whole stay in Sri Lanka. I booked that hotel for 1 night. I noticed that they have a policy for late check in (after 9pm) so on the way I tried to contact them because I was afraid if I will be able to get over there on time. Me and my driver called them several times for hours before my arrival without any result. Finally we got over there about 8:30 pm but there was nobody there and all seemed like closed. "SUPER friendly and accommodating staff. I made my booking earlier in the day but it hadn’t come through their system they totally took me in and showed me to my room right away. It was spacious and the hot water worked. Very close to the base of the Adam’s Peak hike so can start the hike from the hotel’s doorstep. Had a wonderful breakfast on their outdoor porch after my hike. I’d recommend this hotel to any travelers visiting the Sri Pada area. "

"Our room was automatically upgraded to one with A/C. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were great; they were friendly, and accommodated our early morning request for tea and coffee. "This could be something so special. The location itself is amazing and the accommodation for ‘camping’ is incredible. The service wasn’t great however. As kind as everyone was the timings were very off. Being told we needed to be ready for breakfast at 8 and not being served till 9.30\. The same for dinner. We also told them we needed to leave on the final day at 7.30 so wanted breakfast at 7\. We arrived at the breakfast tent at 7 and no one was there. Unfortunately it was the same for the bush walks and the other activities. We request to do the 16km walk they advertised in their welcome message and on their website and they told us it wasn’t possible. We were told there would be a bush walk at 9 and we didn’t leave till 12 which was fine for us but for an 84 year old guest in the group it probably wasn’t the best time of day to go walking and all the animals would have been hiding from the sun. Such a shame as your rely so heavily on the hotel team given you are in the middle of no where "
