Maximum 12 adults. Maximum 4 children. If have have more people in your party, please reach out to us. This west Maui estate property is nestled within the famous Masters at Kaanapali golf course and consists of a new stunning three level architecturally unique home with 7200 sq feet under roof and six bedrooms and six bathrooms. This property can accommodate 16 guests comfortably. There is a detached cottage near the gated entrance, that is totally separate from this house. The cottage is not part of this rental and is the owner's residence. Luxury and tropical charm are abundant right from start as you enter the private gated entry with stone pillars surrounded with bright flowers and lush palms. The property is situated on a hillside with western views out to the ocean with amazing sunsets from your private pool and BBQ area. The home also has a rear view looking over the 13th green of the famous Masters at Kaanapali golf course and the west Maui mountains. The main entry is at the rear of the home and features a porch with a rich mahogany and glass entry doors which lead into a grand atrium with 22 feet soaring ceilings culminating in a vast custom 20 feet by 20 feet skylight. The skylight provides sparkling natural light down through the two floor high atrium. Centered in a large pot in the grand entry below the skylight is a majestic bamboo palm that reaches up two floors bringing the tropical essence of Hawaii into the heart of the home. Beyond there is a 24 ft wall of glass that can be pulled back which leads out onto a vast pool with ocean views, perfectly framed by large mature palm trees. This home features an abundance of custom features along with travertine floors, solid mahogany doors and trim, with select rich hardwoods on the upper bedroom floors. Bathrooms and bedrooms feature large windows that draw in the mountain , ocean and golf course views from all angles. All bathroom sinks are custom one of a kind vessel sinks sculpted from exquisite and rare fossilized wood. Furnishings were all handpicked by the owner, and custom made in Indonesia to create the special ambience of the tropical lifestyle. All beds are custom carved mahogany, with new memory foam mattresses. The huge master suite features a separate shower and jacuzzi with ocean view and a 16 foot sliding wall of glass that leads to a breathtaking stone floored deck with glass rail and stunning views. The bedroom is equipped with a king four poster bed, plus a cozy seating area and a nook complete with a wet bar. The kitchen sits centrally on the main level and has an Island plus two large bar counters enabling ample space for guests to gather. All surfaces are in rich African Persa granite , appliances are stainless and there is a separate wine cooler. Perhaps the best kitchen feature is the unobstructed view out to the pool and ocean views beyond. The inside dining area features a rare one piece 'Bo' wood dining table cut from a single giant tree in Java. This is an art piece in itself. This giant table has seating for twelve, with the glass sliding wall retracted, it is the perfect place for guests to gather and eat dinner whilst enjoying the sunset and the soft balmy breeze. The pool deck has 1100 sq ft of covered porch with two large seating areas of rattan style furniture with cushions galore, located just steps from the expansive pool with a vanishing edge feature that leads to a waterfall that spectacularly drops 11 feet down to a lower pool. The porch also houses a teak dining area for up to eight. There are plenty of luxurious lounging chairs for you to relax while enjoying the warmth of the sun and the spectacular ocean view or sunset. Off to the side of the pool deck is a large spa and a tented barbecue area with travertine backdrop, with a large grill, separate griddle, sink and refrigerator. It also has additional covered dining area for six. Behind the barbecue is a private outdoor shower, toilet and sink. All of this is wrapped with tropical vegetation and ocean views. The house has three levels and the lower level features a kitchenette with a bar and a 'man cave’ with large flat screen tv and comfortable sofa and seating, along with game areas for kids, bathrooms, and laundry room. There is another laundry area in the home, on the very top floor, where four of the bedrooms are located. Should you decide to enjoy the Hawaiian luxury life style without the natural Hawaiian breeze, this house is equipped with two large centralized A/C systems that reach all rooms. There are four separate communal seating areas with flat screen TV's. The street the property is located on is a quiet cul-de-sac of fifteen homes that is surrounded by the Masters at Kaanapali golf course. You can walk on the golf paths and enjoy the wide open ocean views from Molokai to Lanai. A sunset walk upon these pathways all the way down to the beach is something not to be missed. The pristine and unmatched three mile Kaanapali beach is just a short walk away or less than few minutes by car. A dozen top restaurants are within a few minutes drive as is the historic and lively waterfront town of Lahaina. Several top spas are nearby along with tennis courts and several more golf courses. We had 15 in our group, ages 1 to 69 and the house was perfect. Plenty of space so we all felt comfortable. The pool was a favorite of everyone as well as the kitchen! Dan was quick to respond to questions and we had a blast together as a family. Located close to all the wonderful things about Lahaina and just a half hour from Kihei. It accommodated our group of 13 very well. A great kitchen and awesome dining table! Because it’s on a hillside, you must be prepared to climb stairs to get in and out. It was so beautiful and the pool and patio were our favorite places to interact. It's very accurately portrayed by the photos on the VRBO app. Beautiful!! Our host was very quick to respond to any questions. The house itself was exactly as it was in the listing… Spacious, well appointed, great location. Plenty of thoughtful amenities, like toiletries, laundry detergent, condiments, snacks, and a well stocked beer fridge. The property manager was extremely responsive and addressed the couple of tiny issues that came up. A group of 10 adults loved all of the different sitting areas, including the ability to eat indoors or out. Lovely views of the water. Compared to our group staying in a resort this cost about the same And was orders of magnitude more enjoyable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Everyone loved the house and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather or have their private space. We had numerous guests from out of town join us at the house for swimming, lunch or dinner and everyone was comfortable. Location is perfect with beach & plenty of dining nearby. We had several dinners outside by the pool utilizing the outside kitchen while watching the sun set. This is a beautiful, well-kept property. The neighborhood was quiet and a very short drive or 10 min walk to the beach. There was ample public parking next to the beach which was excellent for snorkelling. The pool was ideal for our 4 grandchildren and the house was beautiful and exactly as shown in the VRBO web site. Daniel was an excellent host and very responsive. The house comfortably hosted 14 people. It is better than the pictures. The house is uphill on a golf course. Walkable to beaches, restaurants and bars. There are nearby grocery stores. Very spacious and everything you could need. The house had it all, including everything you could want for the beach. The pool was a huge hit, we were in it every day. Great beaches very close! Quiet neighborhood, beautiful ocean and sunset views! Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend! Host was quick to respond to any questions. The house is generously stocked with snacks, drinks, pool toys, kayaks, bicycles, and beach equipment. It has two kitchens, four refrigerators and three floors. You can walk to Kaanapali beach in 10 minutes. It takes 25 minutes to walk to black rock beach if you feel like cliff diving or snorkeling. There are at least 30 different type of fish and turtles in black rock beach. Whalers Village and MonkeyPod are within a 7 minute driving distance. The various Kalua pork dishes and the Lliquoi Maitai are a must at the Monkeypod resturant. The master bedroom is flawless. The only issue with the property is the fights that break out over who gets what room :) I Highly recommend staying here. ##### Adam V. It’s a beautiful house with ample room for larger groups. We especially liked the outdoor pool area and balcony. The multiple refrigerators and washers/dryers also came in handy. The house was very clean and everyone we dealt with was very friendly. That being said, for the price point we had higher expectations. First, there were some fixtures and other items not working properly or at all. While they fixed the gate and patio lock while we were there, they were unable to fix the pool light and the other items weren’t significant enough to request repair during our stay.It is important to be aware that the driveway is very steep and narrow, so just be prepared in the event this would be an issue for you. You may also want to ask if there is any construction planned during your stay, as the owner was working on building an addition below where they stay and the empty lot next door that was being cleared during our stay. Finally, when we expressed our issues to the property manager after we checked out, he only offered us a a credit if we agreed to leave a higher review rating. ##### Bridget M. Our family of 8 celebrated our 50th anniversary at this beautiful property. Fun for all! The kids loved the huge pool and hot tub (adults, too!) with great ocean views and sunsets to enjoy nightly. The outdoor grill was used almost every night to prepare our dinners which were eaten poolside. The kitchen was somewhat understocked with hodge podge silverware and cookware but enough to satisfy our needs. Daniel was a perfect host, responding to spa and plumbing issues quickly and completely. Lots of beach and pool equipment including several boogie boards, beach chairs and many inflatables for the pool. Driveway access was very narrow and steep, so our 3 cars were moved around frequently to accommodate all. Many birds flew around (and in) the house and cars, searching out our food and leaving their marks on patio furniture and cars. Mahalo to the gracious Islanders who made our stay so memorable. ##### Katie S. The physical spaces, furnishings and recreational equipment are first-rate. We were extremely disappointed in the pool. We booked the home expecting the pool to be heated. When we arrived, it was not, and was too cool to enjoy for more than a few minutes at a time. The hot tub was useless, of course. When we contacted the manager, he told us the prior guests had depleted the gas supply used to heat the pool. He had no plan to resupply the gas, and his attitude, frankly, was that he could care less. The property is at the very top en expense-wise; the service was not. ##### Michael M. This house was the PERFECT place for our family. We were a party of 13--two of us and our combined adult kids/spouses/partners, There was plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable --beds and baths were the best number for privacy and comfort. The kitchen/AMAZING dining table was massive and we used it for our wedding night dinner prepared by a private chef. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces was phenomenal. Our group of young people spent time in the pool every single day with the whole group using the available pool "toys" (especially the pool volleyball) as well as the multiple sun loungers. We also utilized the grill and ate meals together outside. The primary bedroom is incredible. The view of the ocean and palm trees from both the bed and the shower was gorgeous. Our hosts did everything they could to make our wedding week special and comfortable including dropping off an outdoor speaker which we used as well as a thoughtful gift for our wedding night beverages. I want to add too, that they made us feel very welcome during this difficult time for Lahaina. The location of this house is stellar. We spent time in Kapalua for wedding/golf/spa day and it was an easy drive up the road. The beach is easily accessible by walking , and a perfect location for our morning runs.
