EXCELLENT condo in Kaanapali

My wife and I traveled to Maui with our 3 sons (ages 12-18) and found this incredible condo available. The Westin Nanea is a great resort with lots of options. Great beach, great pool, great restaurants and incredible service.We were pleasantly surprised that upon check-in our condo had a full view of the ocean from the lanai so we could watch sunsets and whales a lot (don't forget your binoculars!). This was a huge 2 bedroom/2 bathroom villa with 3 TVs, great kitchen, washer/dryer and lots of space. The resort has many food options as well as many BBQs should you want to cook and stay in. The location is great as you're 5 minute drive to Whaler's Village or a 2 minute drive to other shopping (grocery, food, etc). Highly recommend this unit.

Excellent condo / pretty good resort

The condo itself was perfect. Nice balcony, partial view of the ocean, and excellent view of the lagoon / courtyard with palm trees, etc. excellent master bath, washer / dryer, full kitchen, close to elevators and the main resort lobby (but very quiet), etc. The resort was pretty good. Three pools to choose from and two are large and have water slides (though neither very good). Several large hot tubs. If I was being nit pickey I think the pools could be a little better maintained and I wish they had chairs on the beach you could use without spending close to a hundred bucks a day for a chair and umbrella. The snorkeling right in front of the resort was outstanding. You can.rent snorkel gear right on the property.

Review of our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Westin, Nanea! It is a beautiful, newer property, on the beach, and close to everything on the northwest corner of the island. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The outdoor bar, with good food is right next to the pool. There is a great walking path between the resort and ocean. The beach in front of the property is spacious, sandy and there is good swimming, with limited rocks. The staff is excellent - friendly and helpful. The VacationCandy team was very proactive and helpful!! We spent 10 nights here and will definitely return!
