We would go through them again for future trips. We also enjoyed our stay at Honua Kai. It's a beautiful resort in a great location with all the amenities you need. The unit 829 that we stayed in fit our family well and we loved the views! Morning coffee doesn't get better with a view like that from the 8th floor. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms were nice with powerful shower heads. Location was great. Beds are comfortable but the unit needs some updating. Only two of the three toilets worked. Only two maybe three people could shower without running out of hot water. Sliding doors were tough to open and close. There were no hot pads for taking items out of the oven. The electronics were dated as well as the only speaker system works for what appears to have been a 1st generation IPod. DVD player wasn’t hooked up either.
