Homua Kai is a beautiful resort. This unit had a lovely ocean view and was sufficiently spacious for 2 guests with option for 4.The host, Roger, was very attentive and instructions were thorough and seamless. Great stay!

The view from the Lani is fabulous with incredible sunsets nearly every night. It is also shaded in the morning, which makes for delightful morning coffee and reading.The apartment is well-equipped and spacious.

Family getaway with infant

My husband, 4 month old daughter and I had a wonderful time in Roger’s beautiful condo. The space has everything you need for a comfortable stay—fully stocked kitchen, coolers for grocery shopping, a pack and play for a baby, and is much more. The bed is comfy, view is great, the resort amenities are super, and there is an amazing fish shop down the road. We loved staying here!

This gorgeous condo was even better than the photos showed! It was incredibly spacious and the amenities were fantastic. Snorkeling right off the beach was incredible. The pools were clean, and there was a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Our first trip to Maui couldn't have been better and we're so looking forward to the next stay!

We had a wonderful stay in the condo. There was a beautiful view! The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. We made most of our meals there and enjoyed the view from the balcony. What an amazing view! We loved watching the flaps and tail flips from the whales while we sipped our morning coffee from the lanai!Roger made sure the condo had everything our family of 3 needed, and my son said the pull out was super comfy! The resort amenities/pools are wonderful, with amazing snorkeling right there from the beach!We'd love to return sooner than later! Thank you!

What an amazing stay!

This was our first stop on our Hawaii trip and it spoiled us for the rest of our vacation - nothing even came close to comparing! The unit was spectacular with every amenity you could want… the resort was lovely. My only complaint was that the fitness center was always hot - but besides that I have nothing bad to say. Thank you, Roger, for sharing your home with us! I hope we are back one day.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this trip was for us. Roger and his wife were amazingly helpful and such hospitable hosts. We had an hour long conversation the morning after we booked and they had so many tips and answered all my questions. This was our first trip to Maui and could not of been more perfect. The Honua Kai property was beautiful and very well taken care of. You can't beat the views, the beautiful beach, so many pool options and spacious manicured grounds. The condo was incredibly clean, updated and fully stocked with everything you could need. the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Having the washer and drier was such a bonus. Went home with minimal dirties! We love starting our morning and ending our evening sitting on the lanai. Being set back from the pools made it fairly quiet but you did not lose the amazing ocean views. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we can't wait to come back!

Perfect Getaway!

Stayed here for 6 nights. We've been to this island over 10 times and this was one of the best places we've stayed. Roger was an amazing host. Very accomodating and kind. The room itself was perfect for our needs. Couldn't have wanted more. Kitchen is very well stocked with any appliances you could need, including a drip coffee maker and a keurig, which Roger told me on our initial phone call. It's always so nice to know what to bring. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

Wonderful View and Host

We visit the islands on a regular basis. Roger stands out as on the of better hosts we have encountered. The month before our visit, Roger called to see exactly when we were leaving as he had a couple of days in-between guests. When I mentioned that we had a red eye, he immediately offered to let us stay in the condo until the evening. Incredibly helpful.The view from the lanai allows for a view of the sunset and whale watching. We watched the whales while eating breakfast each morning.The kitchen is fully outfitted leaving us wanting for nothing. Near the back entrance to the resort is a parking lot with a full contingent of food trucks, something for everyone.Thank you Roger for making our time in Hawaii easy and relaxing.

Absolutely amazing!

We had such a wonderful stay! Everything is just as what we read on the site description. Roger is so very generous and helpful every step of the way from the moment we reserved the unit till we checked out. We had to go back and forth a bit between two towers for checkin but it was caused by miscommunications amongst the bellmen I think, and Roger was always there to guide us through. It was such a beautiful view we woke up to every single day. The sofa bed was so comfortable for our 6-yr-old. We find the space perfect for the three of us. There are enough pools to go around for our kid and her friends who stayed at the same resort. The beach also kept them busy for hours, from chasing the wave to building all sorts of sand things. We would love to come back next year if circumstances allow! The parking is free and the location is quite convenient. There are stops and Safeway within a short 7 minute drives. Thank you Roger for allowing your unit to be a blessing to me and my family! Aloha and Mahalo!

Beautiful resort, views, and condo in Kaanapali

We came to Maui over Christmas with the entire family and we all stayed in separate condos within the Honua Kai resort. It’s a beautiful and well maintained property with various pools fit for kids and adults of all ages. It was also nice to have Duke’s restaurant on property for a quick bite or drinks by the pool. This unit was gorgeous! The decor was the prettiest of the three condos we stayed in. My 80-year-old mother stayed in this one and felt completely safe and at home. She loved the gorgeous view from the lanai and sat out there every morning with her binoculars looking for whales. The doors open up all the way which was a nice feature. Also the kitchen had plenty of items for cooking and there were also items for taking to the beach. This particular tower of Honua Kai has a general store in the lobby which was very convenient! The other tower also has a coffee shop and small store that sells wine and liquor. The owner of this unit, Roger, contacted us immediately on booking to provide details on the unit and answer any questions we had. He was so nice, kind, and helpful, and always answered messages promptly. Would stay here again! Maui is pure paradise.

Absolutely Perfect Ocean View Stay in Maui!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible ocean view condo in Kaanapali. It was everything we hoped for and more! The moment we walked in, we were blown away by the stunning views. Every morning, we were greeted by the sound of the waves and an unbeatable sunrise right from the 6th floor balcony. The location is perfect with easy access to the beach, 3 pools, restaurant, general store, and spa. The condo itself was clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more), and we loved having the option to cook some meals and enjoy them on the lanai with that amazing ocean view. The bed was super comfortable, and having a sleeper sofa came in handy for our 7 year old. The condo unit was a convenient distance to the elevator (not too close to be noisy), which made it a breeze to access the parking garage and ground floor. The host was also fantastic—very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We appreciated the little touches, like a beach umbrella, chairs, and a cooler which made our beach days even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy all that Maui has to offer, this condo is a gem. I would highly recommend it and can't wait to return for another stay! P.S. Roger, thank you for the Macadamia Nut Chocolates. Unfortunately, we had to leave them behind as our luggage was packed to the nines.
