See and hear the ocean from your bed and your private lanai. Featuring a comfy king bed, central AC, smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen, and in-unit laundry. Free on-site parking, 1 space No resort fees, no other additional fees This oceanfront, direct ocean view unit is located on the 4th floor of the Mahana at Ka'anapali I'm Sue, and I would love to welcome you to our studio condo at the Mahana. I have many years of property management experience. I have also enlisted my son's good friend, Ryan, to help me host. He has hundreds of top reviews and years of experience living and working in Maui. Together, we are always available to help our guests experience the best Maui has to offer. The Mahana is my sanctuary, home-away-from-home, and my goal is for you to feel the same during your stay. The floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lanai offer breathtaking views of the sunset over the neighboring islands of Lāna'i and Moloka'i. The king Murphy bed provides the comfort of a regular bed (We have bad backs so we are VERY picky!) while offering the living space normally found only in one-bedroom units. Warm wood accents and classic Asian island-inspired decor create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that will instantly put you at ease. The Mahana is about as close to the ocean as it gets, offering breathtaking views up and down uncrowded North Ka'anapali Beach in West Maui with direct beach access at the Southern end of the property. A private gate from the Mahana provides easy access to the boardwalk, which goes for miles and leads to the Kaanapali Beach resort area. Take a short walk on the boardwalk or the beach to Duke’s restaurant next door or one of the nearby resorts for fine dining and entertainment. There is direct ocean access in the middle of the property and excellent snorkeling. The beach size varies greatly with the tides and season. Inside the condo: \-One free parking space. One car maximum. Sorry, there is no parking for a 2nd car. \-Spacious studio with one Murphy king-size bed, Sleeps 2 guests \-Central AC to keep you cool \-Furnished lanai with direct ocean views \-Spacious living space, 456 sq ft + lanai \-Smart TV and high-speed WiFi \-Fully equipped kitchen, stove top (no oven), and dishwasher \-Drip coffee maker, Keurig, electric kettle, French press \-Full bathroom with walk-in shower \-In-unit washer/dryer with some laundry detergent to start \-Beach towels, beach chairs, and a small beach cooler \*There are several rental shops for snorkeling gear within 3 minutes of the condo building. Sorry, I don’t provide snorkeling gear due to safety and hygiene. I usually send detailed instructions one week before your arrival date. The door uses a personalized electronic key code. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm and check-out is anytime before 10 am \*\*LAHAINA FIRE\*\* The condo is in a beautiful area north of the fire, and all restaurants, buildings, and beaches were undamaged. This is also the case for the surrounding neighborhoods. All of my favorite beaches were untouched, and there are tons of great restaurants in Ka'anapali, Kahana, Napili, and Kapalua, just minutes from the condo. The road to Hana and my favorite hikes are still open and will likely be less crowded than they used to be. Your visit can make such a positive impact on the island. Your presence helps to employ residents in tourism and helps to sustain local businesses. Over 80% of Maui's industry is driven by tourism, more than any other island in Hawaii \*\*MAJOR USA HOLIDAYS\*\* Reservations checking in/out ON THE DAY OF: Thanksgiving Day (November), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Day (01/01), Easter, and July 4th will be subject to an additional $200 cleaning surcharge to provide my housekeeper holiday pay. The views can't be beat, all ocean front. This particular unit was not my favorite, the remodel is strange, bathroom glass shower wall allows water to spray bathroom floor, furniture is too large for space. Murphy bed is unnecessary and impractical for a studio space. I did appreciate the beach chairs, towels and umbrellas provided! ##### Michelle P. The lanai overlooks the ocean and in fact we slept with the door open to listen to the ocean sounds. Within a short walk of grocery store, restaurants, bars, food trucks and coffee shops. Our only complaint was the lack of bathroom towels. Only had 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. Also, there is no pickle ball equipment available as stated in the details. Staying at Sue's beachfront condo was one of the highlights of our trip. Falling asleep amd waking up to the sound of waves was so soothing. The views were stunning. We had breakfast on the lanai every day before we went on our adventures. We ate at the restaurant Duke's several times just for the ease of walking next door and the food was excellent. We loved being right on the ocean and walking back to have drinks on our lanai. It was spectacular. It was a great place to retreat to after all our adventures. Sue thought of everything and when we needed more supplies she got us some that afternoon. The only thing is they are still doing construction on the entire complex. We could hear work a few times that we slept in and had breakfast around 10 but it wasmt horrible. The waves drowned out the noise outside but definitely more noise if you stayed in unit. And the hot tub was down a few days but they got it running again. The location and views were top notch and we will definitely be staying here again. It was a good location to have home base. We relaxed in the morning made breakfast at our pace and then headed out for the day. Talked to the conceigre(sp) a few times, she was very knowledgeable. My husband and I stayed here for a week in August 2022\. The property was exactly as pictured and described and the details given by the owner were spot on. Easy to park, access, and enjoy! We had no problems so never needed to contact the owner but she gives lots of contact info. in case contact is needed. Great location with easy access to The boardwalk and Kaanapali beach. You can walk to the supermarket and a couple good restaurants across the street. Food trucks nearby are so-so. The unit is a little tight with the oversized desk but there’s everything you could want included. Snorkel sets, beach towels and chairs, binoculars, card games and a lot of kitchen items for cooking. Oil, spices, syrup, etc. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. Laundry is in the closet and we used it several times. So handy to have. One weird thing was when the wind blew hard (which it did the whole time we were there) the sliding glass door makes a moaning sound like a haunted house. But if you crack it open a bit, it stops. We used the fan most nights and it was perfect. Love waking up to a view of the water. Had our coffee on the deck every morning. Parking is free and the pool is never too crowded. You can walk a short distance down the beach and have excellent snorkeling. There’s some construction going on but only in the day and the crew is very friendly and respectful. ##### Jud C.
