Happiness on the beach

Great clean location with fully stocked and upgraded bathroom and kitchen. It was nice to have a short walk to the beach and snorkeling park. We were just steps away from the lounge chairs at the pool. We would definitely stay here again.

Another wonderful two week stay in this villa

This resort property is very nice and well kept up. The close beach access and the great walking paths are the best. The unit has a comfortable bed and very nice kitchen with great appliances, pots and pans etc.It is a very short walk to beach and quick minute to the main pool/spa. This was our fourth stay -the host, Shawna is very helpful and available for questions or concerns. I highly recommend this place to stay! We felt very welcome -Maui needs you back!

We have stayed here before and love the resort and this unit. Would definitely stay again as we love main floor rentals as the Lanai’s are much larger. Also for us we love this side of the resort, never in direct sun. Close to pool, beach and Castaway restaurant. A few minor issues need to be addressed and have notified the property manager.

The thing I like most about this unit was it location. Right across from the pool, close to the beach, and on the walking trail. The thing that was most unappealing was the air conditioner was not working and the washer and dryer is not in the unit, but in another building, which was also not working. I would go back, but not until the air conditioning is fixed. It would’ve been helpful to know this before we arrived.

A wonderful stay

Fabulous condo on one of the best beaches in the world!

I highly recommend this beach vacation rental! The location is spot on! The rental itself is decorated tastefully and was super clean! You have two pools and hot tubs, a restaurant, the beach, snorkel and cabana rentals, on-site massages, and a trolley that runs to Whaler’s village. It doesn’t get much better!

Paradise!

We’ve stayed at this property in the past and love the friendly, relaxed vibe, handy restaurant, and the beautiful beach just steps away. This was our first stay in a ground-level unit near the pool though. It was great to be so close to everything, and the unit was fully stocked and very clean. The only downside to being right next to the pool is the constant parade of people passing by on the beach walk. Some people might want more privacy but for us the trade-off of being so close to the pool and beach was worth it.

The condo was very well equipped w/all essentials. And the décor was in excellent taste. I didn't know that we would be charged $20/day for essentials ~ whatever that was. Seems like that should just be included in the fee up front. The property is well taken care of and beautiful. It would be nice if the "beach walk" was placed in front of the property along the beach rather than parading through the property to give the patrons more privacy.

We love Kaanapali Villa's

The condo was clean with a newly renovated kitchen. We liked being close to the ocean and liked being on the ground floor. I also like having the option to cook my own meals. There is a constant flow of people walking on the path in front of the condo, so no privacy while sitting outside and kept the curtains closed. There isn't a washer or dryer in the unit but you can go to the hotels coin operated laundry. It was nice to be able to use the two beach chairs that were in the unit. We went to Boss Frogs to rent an umbrella to sit under ($25 for a week). We did have a wonderful time at the beach every day.

Exceptional Unit

Everything about the unit was very high end and much nicer than we expected, including appliances, furnishings, and beautiful woodwork. We would use the doors in our next house. The walk out ground floor location provides convenient access to the pool, Castaways restaurant, and the beach for anyone, including the handicapped, which included one of us. The location does mean less privacy with the Kaanapalli beach walkway right outside and, for us, to have the breeze, rather than the AC, cool the room at night. But, as previous MKV owners for 30 years, we knew that in advance. One of the best units we have stayed in our 45 years of coming to MKV

Great location and beautiful but needs cosmetic upgrades!

This ground level condo has a perfect location very close to the beach, pool and beach café. The grounds are beautiful. However, the owner forgot to notify the desk of our reservation so it took 1 1/2 hours for her to get back to the front desk and verify our reservation. While we waited, we had lunch at the beach front café. The condo has great bones but would benefit from new (or steam cleaned) carpet, updated bedspread. blanket, and davenport pillows, updated white secondary curtains, new plastic glasses and other amenities that would make it feel fresh and current. I would suggest steam cleaning all the tile floors too and cleaning cabinets. That said, we would probably consider renting this condo again as it had the best location, beautiful decorations, great bath and kitchen, was very close to the beach and the staff were very nice. We felt a bit rushed as the cleaning service wrote and asked if we were going to leave before 11:00. (No, we did not plan to so we did not respond.) They were sitting outside our door at 10:00 waiting for us to leave. Oh, parking also worked out well for us as we were able to use our handicapped sticker and the carts available from the front desk.
