I wanted to take the time and leave an honest review as I recently stayed here. I had flown in from Cancun, stayed at a 5 star resort and booked the Orchid House as I wanted a 5 star hotel. I don’t know what I missed, but this is an average hotel. This hotel has a beautiful environment and it’s definitely a “boutique hotel” but other than the free breakfast, it has no other amenities. I think major improvements can include a pool, gym, spa, etc. Staff greet you but are very absent. During our entire 3 days there, we never saw staff, except twice. While it’s nice having the “whole place to myself” feel, it’s not an Airbnb, but a hotel, which can be a disadvantage. We checked out at 7am and provided the kitchen staff our key as there was no receptionist. The home is beautiful and is located in an amazing area, but I would definitely consider other options if you really want to be fully catered to.
