Great place !! Everything perfect

Spotlessly clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Large apartment that sleeps 5+ and so quiet. Can't hear any outside noise from inside.

The boat journey is exciting and comfortable despite being 8 hrs up river and 5 back. If lucky u meet the researchers and hear about their ingenious projects focused on the flora and fauna and the staff are attentive and wonderful as is the food. We were up at 4.30 most mornings which is no sweat as u go to bed about 9 pm. The clay licks are disappointing this time of year as the Macaws come rarely and the smaller birds fear the hawks without the macaws on the lick...but the birds accumulate...

We totally LOVED staying here! We had a superior room and it was excellent, far exceeding my expectations of a jungle lodge. The mosquito nets are extremely good quality, so no worries about the bugs getting in and it was a unique experience sleeping in a room that was open to the jungle on one side. The whole lodge was beautifully built and very atmospheric after dark with the small lamps lit. Each part of our 3-day/ 2-night stay had different activities to do and we enjoyed them all. The...

Terrific jungle lodge 70 miles into the Amazon. Lots of activities and comfortable living. It's not cheap but well recommended.

The lodge was superb, very helpful and friendly staff all round. They were very flexible with meals for our children (5 & 8 years). All staff I spoke to were really knowledgeable about the local plants and animals but special shout out to Yuri who led our multiple excursions. Only small suggestion for improvement would be to have a small selection of snacks available to purchase, chips, nuts, chocolate etc for between meals but otherwise the meals themselves were delicious. My complaint is...

Stayed at Jacamar Lodge Expedition for three days and two nights. The service from Iquitos to the lodge was good and efficient, with helpful staff and good sturdy boats on the river. The lodge had a large sociable main dining room with a bar and all the rooms are protected with fly screen to stop the mosquitoes. The food was excellent, they don’t let you go hungry and vegetarians were catered for also. The best part of the trip has to be the guided tours and trips to see vairious things. The...

Great stay

Our stay was very comfortable. Staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Great hotel, very friendly staff!

Amazing stay, Refugio Amazonas is a beautiful lodge - you're guaranteed to have a wonderful time! The rooms are spacious and well presented, comfortable and airy as they are open to the rainforest. The lodge is very well run from collection at the airport to the time you leave - the manager Carlos has it running like clockwork. The guides are absolutely fantastic too, and each group will have someone dedicated to them for the duration of their stay - my wife and I had Boris who was brilliant and...
