Stället överträffade våra förväntningar! Det ogenerade läget, bastun och stranden, svampskogen och ett hus som är både rymligt, funktionellt och trivsamt. Som den matglada familj vi är hade vi uppskattat lite mer utrustning, porslin och bestick i köket, men det är också vår enda anmärkning. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

A place to relax
Checking in went well; we met Nina and followed her car in ours to get to the property; it is 5 Km off the main road and the road surface is gavel/stones. My husband was a bit sad at that point since there was no way he could ride is racing bike he had with him on this surface. However, all sadness left as we got to the house and went inside. Outside, the location is fantastic with stunning views over the lake and to Stora Sunby Slott on the other side. Inside, wow. The house much have been built about 10 years ago (guess on my part) but the style outside is very Swedish summer house style. Inside, the building work of the floors and windows etc. is fantastic, great attebtion to detail and it is beautifully decorated. Nina showed us round and explained a few things that needed explaining. One of these things is that the tap water, although safe to drink, does not taste very nice (but is OK for tea and coffee) and so a bottle of water had been provided in the fridge. It would have been good to know this in advance since we could have brought water with us instead of having to buy plastic bottles at the local supermarket. However, that was the ONLY minor annoyance and we had a very happy week there, sitting on the deck, reading, looking at the view, swimming in the lake, repeat :-) We will return, with a mountain bike and not a raod bike!!

We had a wonderful stay and relaxed so much! The house is nicely renovated and has all the modern confort one would require (incl. a large sauna). It is well situated: feels remote but close enough to towns and cities to get groceries and do activities. Great help and organisation from the property manager Nina (welcome, availability for questions, drove us to the central train station as our car got distroyed by a tree in a storm)

Tolles Haus mitten im Wald direkt am See. Ruhe, Entspannung, Tiere, Gegend, Wasser. Im Haus ist alles, was man braucht, die große Küche ist genial, Wohn- und Esszimmer sind sehr ansprechend. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig. Wir konnten viel Unternehmen und viel Ausspannen. Ein perfekter Urlaub in einer perfekten Lokation. Vielen Dank dafür.

Ein Traum, der für uns in Erfüllung ging.
Bei unserer Ankunft, als nach einer «gefühlten Ewigkeit» auf Kies- und Naturstrassen durch den Wald, wo uns das Navi hin führte, dieses traumhafte, wie in der Website beschriebene Anwesen auftauchte, waren wir begeistert. Ein wunderschönes, stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit viel Liebe zum Detail an einem so idyllischen Ort, mitten in der Natur, direkt am See. Auch die Sauna und das Ruderboot am eigenen Steg vollendeten das Gesamtbild perfekt. Eine Empfehlung an alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen.

We (group of 6) have spent a week at this lovely place. The house and location are wonderful. In the middle of the forest, with a sauna next to the lake you can calm down and enjoy your holidays.

Perfekte Idylle
Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man benötigt! Toller Blick auf den See, sehr schöne Lage mitten im Wald. Das Sauna- Häuschen direkt am See ist toll und ideal für 4 Personen. Ein Bad im See danach ging auch noch im Oktober. Streifzüge durch den umliegenden Wald belohnten und sogar mit der Entdeckung einer Elchkuh! Wir haben den Aufenthalt ingesamt sehr genossen! Tipp: vorher Großeinkauf machen und dann die Einsamkeit und Idylle fernab von städtischem Trubel genießen.

Urlaub in Schweden, so wie man sich es vorstellt.
Eine kurze Zusammenfassung gleich zu Beginn. Wir haben eine Woche Sommerurlaub in diesem schönen Ferienhaus, bei bestem Wetter genießen dürfen. Das Flair des Hauses, die Lage am See und die Einsamkeit sind einfach super. Genau so stellt man sich das vor, wenn man seinen Urlaub in Schweden plant. Das Haus ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der eigene kleine Sandstrand, die super Sauna, der Steg mit dem Ruderboot, all das ist sehr stimmig und lassen einem den Urlaub genießen. Wenn, wie in unserem Fall, auch das Wetter mitspielt, gibt es kaum Punkte die man kritisieren kann/darf. Das was Vormieter geschrieben haben, was die Wasserqualität betrifft, stimmt. Wer empfindlich bzgl. Wassergeschmack ist, der sollte zu Mineralwasser greifen. Zum kochen, waschen und auch Zähne putzen, kann man aber schon das Wasser aus der Leitung nehmen. Geschirr und Besteck dürfte es etwas mehr sein, aber das ist nur eine Anmerkung und kein Mangel. Bei 6 Personen (4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) ist die Spülmaschine dann schön öfters mal in Gebrauch. Hier gibt es auch den einzigen Mangel den wir hatten. An den letzten 2 Tagen wurde das Reinigungsergebnis immer schlechter, was wohl mit verstoppten Düsen zu tun hatte. Wir haben bei unserer Abreise das Housekeeping informiert und hoffen das die nachfolgenden Urlauber schnell wieder eine gut funktionierende Spülmaschine nutzen konnten. Vielen Dank an Johanna und Mauritz, bestimmt kommen wir wieder.
