"It is in a great location walking distance to store's and restaurants public transportation is close also. The front desk staff Daniella,Eric,javin is very helpful when it comes down to checking in they make the peocess go by smooth. The management staff Mark and Kim are very helpful if you have a situation an you let them known about it they will go handle it or send security.the house keeping staff are. Wonderful they make sure you have your lien if your missing something like a face towel or blanket they will get the item to uou within 10 minutes. Will definitely be renting here again even though i don't get towels s"

"Valmore room Great. Beautiful Cool two sided fireplace on countdown timer. Only complaint is the heaters range from on/off was too wide, felt like a 3-4 degree swing, need covers don’t need covers off and in. The free breakfast was excellent. Very nice staff!!"

"This was the first time I have stayed in Oak Hill Inn but it won't be my last. My room was charming and quiet, plenty big enough for two though it was just me this time. The last time I stayed in Julian it was at the Julian Hotel and I felt confined and claustrophobic (I had to leave the room to change my mind). No such issues at the Oak Hill Inn. A big plus is that it's just a five minute walk up the hill to reach the heart of Julian. It is a bit tricky getting into the room, as the entrance is at the top of a steep staircase. So, make a few trips to get safely into the room (don't overload yourself). There is a nice looking little pool for the warmer months of the year (much too cold in April). At the end of my trip I neglected to take my pillow, leaving it on the bed. The owners and I have communicated and they will gladly hold it until my next drive into Julian. Good customer service!"
