I saw a guest pick up a lime from the buffet, squeeze it into his mouth several times, and put it back. Staff saw this too, but despite confronting him, they still allowed him to remain and continue dining. This was very disappointing and makes me question the hotel’s commitment to hygiene. "The hotel is on a hill right next to and with view of the temple. That also means it is only reachable by foot. As non Hindu travelers we definitely stood out but the location also provided a great opportunity to spend time at the most impressive attraction in Guwahati. Transportation back down from the temple hill is uncomplicated since cabs will love to have your business. "

"Brand new hotel in an area difficult to access due to construction on the nearby main road. Staff was delightful and very helpful but didn’t speak much English and required translation by Assamese-speaker. Food was very good and dining area was beautiful. "
