The wild iris house was perfect for our stay visiting family in Joseph and Enterprise. Great location close to town or to the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we could need. Will definitely stay again on our next trip.
Our hosts were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The location was perfect with cute downtown Joseph within a short walk and Wallowa Lake only a mile down the road. We had everything we needed.
Great location, cute house, clean, close to lots of great activities. We did the Wallowa Tramway, paddle boarded at Wallowa Lake, hiked Hurricane ridge, hiked to Chief Joseph grave, did lots of shopping, drove to Hells Canyon Overlook, and visited Imnaha (gorgeous place)!
Great location, clean place. Walking distance to town and a little further to lake. Clean and had everything we needed. Lots of deer. And a very sweet neighbor.
Nice property. Clean and comfortable, accommodated us well, walking distance to downtown Joseph and short drive to the lake. Nice yard for the boys to romp.
We were very pleased with this home. Very comfortable in every aspect. Well stocked kitchen and linens/towels to use. Very close to everything we did, including going to town for great meals, riding the tram up to the top of Mt Howard and going to Lake Wallowa. We would highly recommend this home and hope to stay here again in the future.
I, my husband, and his 96 year old mother stayed at the Wild Iris House for a week. It was comfortable, extremely clean and well-stocked. The location was ideal for our outings and on the days Mom decided to stay in, she was comfortable and well-entertained by the deer!
Kathy was quick to respond to my questions beforehand, and everything was so well-ordered and instructions so thorough, we had a relaxing, no hassle visit.
Kathy's house is absolutely adorable. It's perfectly located between the charming town of Joseph and the stunning Wallowa Lake. We loved our stay immensely. The kitchen is extremely well appointed, and the house has everything needed to feel like a safe, relaxing haven. The deer nibbling on the apple trees in the backyard was the icing on the cake. Truly loved it here, and would stay again in an instant :)
Although on a busy highway, the landscaping kept noise at bay. Fantastic view of the mountains from this comfortable & cozy home. Linens were exceptional, too. Plus the kitchen was well stocked with great cookware and sharp knives. Sure made cooking in much easier.
The Iris House is comfortable, well decorated, and very well equipped. We visited Joseph for the Wallowa Mountain Cruise to show our classic ‘64 Buick Riviera. The host was very responsive in allowing us to keep our car in the garage and even stopped by to visit us at the car show. We would definitely stay again at this unique property close to town and Wallow Lake which we also visited. Great experience!
The property exceeded our expectations! The house was adorable and had everything we needed. Loved the openness of the living room/kitchen/dining nook. The sun in the morning streamed in and lit up the house. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were soft. The heat/air was easy to use, and we used both during our stay haha. We sat out back at the patio table and watched the deer meander by and listened and watched the robins. The neighbors were friendly and kind (One neighbor apologized because she thought she was being too loud. She wasn’t.) The house is in a great location and has a view of the mountains from the beautiful backyard. The flowers and plants up front make it super cheerful & inviting. The kitchen is great and has nice appliances. We ate every breakfast and 4 dinners at the house during our 6 day stay. Kathy was super responsive during the process and I felt very comfortable with her and her rental. I highly recommend staying for any length of time; you will not be disappointed.
Terrific property and very gracious hosts. The house was great and well stocked, all the convenances of home - Dishwasher, washer & dryer. One thing that was listed in description was a hide abed, the couch in the house didn't have a hide abed the couch was wide enough for one of our guest to sleep on comfortably. Overall it was a great stay.
