"Room was clean, everything looked new. Bed was very comfortable. Parking was available just outside the door. Breakfast had a variety of cold and hot items. Coffee was fresh. We will definitely stay here on our next trip through NC."

"This is a rustic cabin surrounded by nature. It's actually two little cabins with the bedroom and bathroom in one and the kitchen, loft and a tiny living room in one. We stopped here for one night on our way to somewhere else. This is the kind of place you want to come and stay longer (fish, kayak or just enjoy nature). The checkin was very easy, the host responded promptly to all my questions. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, the ac in the bedroom is noisy. Also if you plan to stay longer and cook, you'll need more pots. There's just a couple Teflon pots but those were scratched and are not healthy to use because they release the forever chemicals in the food."

"This was the half way marker for a road trip from South Florida to New York. I was traveling with two dogs and this hotel made the stop super easy. It is right off 95 and easy to get to. I am a female who was traveling alone with two dogs and the property was well lit up and felt very safe considering I arrived at 1:30am. The staff was friendly and efficient. I liked that the rooms had outdoor acess so entering with dogs was fast and easy. The best part is this hotel is pet friendly and that was my main concern besides being safe. I did not use the pool or the continential breakfast that was offered but for the price I really think this was a great find on my trip North, and I also stopped here on my way back south. I did return and would recommend it to anybody traveling and needing a pet friendly place to stay."

"The room is spacious and clean, it feels very homey. Bed is king with clean sheets, Christine the owner is so welcoming and nice. The hot breakfast with drink choices is a plus. It's close to the lake where we stayed almost two hours just to enjoy the weather and the bree.Overall, it's a great experience. We are coming back."
