"I really enjoyed the age of the hotel and the history behind it! Everything inside was clean, and although it had a slightly creepy feel at first, I think old buildings sometimes have that atmosphere, and I actually kind of like it! The owner was wonderful and very helpful. Everything is older, but that's part of the charm, even if it's not quite from the 1800s! A few minor complaints: the little Keurig only made a 6-ounce cup of coffee and was a bit slow. Breakfast was pretty basic, consisting of bananas, granola bars, and cereal. The bathtub faucet/shower kept getting stuck, and the water didn't drain properly. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. I appreciate historic buildings and their character, and despite a few little inconveniences, I would definitely stay here again!"

"The property is beautiful. We had a Victorian style room on the ground floor. We were surprised how big the room was and the whirlpool tub was amazing. The only negative was the uncomfortable bed. Other than that our stay was wonderful."
