"The night was as smooth as we could have hoped including the 4:00am uber that was provided. "

"The room smell was of spices because of a restaurant next door. Checked the beds one with hair on it and the other with food crumbs inside the bed!! There was toilet paper, soap, and towels but other motels we stayed at had extra stuff for their customers. "

"A bare bones experience. No amenities like hairdryer, tissues, iron, or fridge. For the price and sketchy location, definitely not worth the price. I was alone, and the location (behind other buildings and next to the railroad tracks) set the setting for a Dateline episode in my mind. It was dark and scary, especially at night. Maybe great for truck drivers or guys on a road trip, but not a great environment for single women or families. Regardless of how old and run down the place was, I have to admit it was clean. So kudos there. Front desk person (not sure if owner) was very pleasant and helpful when I asked for a hairdryer and iron."

"The view from the deck is spectacular. Nothing better than waking up to birds singing and enjoying the stary night before going to bed. The kichen is fully equipped with everything you need. Our two dogs had a great time there as well and there was plenty of space to set up their crates while we were visitin EWU campus. Thank you for your hospitality!"

"Great place to stay, but I wish I’d known the “kitchenette” wasn’t set up to prepare food at all, as I would have brought what I needed from home. There was a full-sized fridge and microwave, as well as dishes and utensils as advertised, but only the coffee mugs were microwave safe (the rest of the dishes were plastic - not the kind that even claims to be microwave safe), and there weren’t any cooking implements. No larger bowls or spoons, not even a can opener. Otherwise, the place was excellent - very clean and functional, great location with easy walking access to many restaurants and the EWU campus. I also wish I’d been given more than a couple hours notice that it was a contactless check in - it all worked very smoothly, but I was already traveling by the time they sent an email explaining the system, so I wandered the building for a while trying to find someone before finally getting into my email to look for a phone number to call, which is when I found the (very clear) instructions."

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Liked the welcome message very much. Real omlets for breakfast was unexpected and delicious. Wish bathroom had bars. Very difficult to stand up from toilet."

"Stay was decent but the listing was misleading. Listing stated it sleeps 6 but we found it is set up for 4. We endedup buying an air mattress so the 5 of us had a spot to sleep."

"This place is amazing! We loved the perfect little cottage and visiting the highland cows. The proximity to EWU is ideal - maybe 5 min, and Yoke's grocery store is right down the street. We brought boots for our farm walks, and really enjoyed petting the farm dogs and watching the cows enjoy dinner each evening. The sunsets are gorgrous too. The owners are so kind! Would definitely stay here again! "
