This is a sweet motel in the heart of John Day. While it is an older design-it is a very pleasant place to stay in a rural part of Oregon. We found good food at the Outpost Pizza adjacent to the inn. It served delicious pizza. The bar tender was personable and made our dinner fun.

We have small dogs that like to bark. They didn't hear the neighbors doors close or people talking so they were quiet the whole time. The hotel was almost full so there were people around. Nice soundproofing. And its a very safe, we left and accidentally left the door not closed all the way. We were gone for HOURS and nothing was touched, everything as we left it.

Pool broke down Hot tub broke down Room filthy - toothpaste on mirror, coffee maker, filthy, and surrounding area, dirty, tub Gross, black ring, bed underneath the sheep the mattress cover had blood stains on it that looked like it never been washed, hair on the other bed. Have pictures but prefer not to attach.
