Excellent base for visiting Johannesburg

The guest house is in a great location - within walking distance of parks and shops and also within driving distance of a lot of what Johannesburg has to offer. The rooms are clean and quiet and the surrounding gardens are well looked after and calming. The breakfasts are delicious and service overall very good. There is secure, off-road parking.

Top notch guest house

Amazing two day stay at Liz.

Liz runs a lovely and very efficient B&B in the suburbs of Joburg. We were picked up at the airport by Abbey who Liz uses when Zac is away or busy. A very honest, helpful and wonderful gentleman and the type of person I would like to leave Joburg with in mind. The location is just outside of downtown with very good security, lovely rooms and a breakfast area looking out to a beautiful garden. Liz runs an efficient B&B and was very helpful with our stay in Joburg without being intrusive.

Excellent - Great Vegan Options Too

My stay was a pleasure from start to finish. Liz and her staff are considerate and genuinely care about their guests. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily to a very high standard. Vegans - Liz will make you a fantastic vegan English breakfast on request - tofu scramble, vegan bacon and sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast. This is in a town that is anything but vegan-friendly.

Nothing overlooked

Liz is a perfectionist. Her goal is to ensure all her guests have the most enjoyable stay ever. Absolutely nothing is overlooked. I guarantee that if you need something, it will be in your room somewhere. The food was beautiful and the grounds are filled with spectacular gardens and plants and a pool. We only had a short stay but were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our time there. Liz is also a font of local knowledge and can assist with directions and ideas on how to get around or what to see & do. I f there were more places like this, it would make travelling so much more stress free. To top it off, Liz is a lovely person as well. Great job Liz.

Personal Service at its finest.

I stayed in the "Earthroom" - a large room with King size bed, seperate shower and bathtub, Kitchenette, desk, couch and secluded open air patio with table & chairs. I couldn't have been more pleased, or more comfortable. The secure, offstreet parking allowed me to completely relax and enjoy my surroundings. A short walk in this quiet neighborhood leads you to a couple of wonderful resaurants, a large modern grocery store, a great market, and a liquor store. At every turn, and with any request, both Liz, and her staff were helpful, and accomodating. I'll stay here again, next time i'm in Joberg.
