"Chandelao Garh is more than just a good hotel. It's an experience. Facilities, the food and service are nearly impecable and the best I've found in India. But what really stands out is the experience and the tours offered. Even though it's situated in a small village, you should spend at least a ..."

"While visiting Jaipur for two nights we stayed in this nice quiet hotel. The hotel is close to the city center in a quiet area. The hotel grounds are beautiful kept. The hotel manager and service personnel were all very attentive."
"I tried my best to cancel the booking but couldn't. The hotel location is such that even a taxi cannot reach it. The Hotels.com still deducted full charge, despite of nog even checking in and using the facility. I paid INR 25,000 for nothing. This is totally unacceptable and unfair."
"The people hosting were nice enough. However, property facilities were not suitable enough for the weary traveller. It's difficult to get to. No locks on door. Can't bring outside water bottles in. Bed not clean. Insects like spiders and ants in room. Aircon and electricity was shut off in middle ..."

Not worth my money
"Hotel said that they didn't have any reservation for me from Orbitz. It was a shock as I was with a small kid and no room. I paid again and got 1 room for 1 night and had to move to a different hotel for the rest of my stay. The Bijolai has mosquitoes, stinky bathrooms, less than average food and ..."

"Amazing stay. Booked trip for family and everyone enjoyed thoroughly. Pool was closed which was a shame. Property is clean, green and well maintained. Breakfast (included) was sumptuous and tasty with both veg and non-veg options. Resort restaurant had lunch and dinner menus (paid separately) which were fantastic. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
I would however advise on 2 things..
1) Improve your customer response system. No one seems to reply to either calls or emails about the reservation.
2) For the Christmas/New Year party, do inform patrons about the separate charges (₹11000 per person this year) before they make reservations. I am sure guests would appreciate knowing before hand that they need to pay money for these mandatory parties, on top of room charges."

"The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Mehrangarh fort and the other attractions in that area. The fort is a quick walk from the hotel itself. The hotel facilities are top notch, but the service level had some minor misses (such as not caring to keep the rear gate open for someone returning from the fort) which weren't a big deal, but stood out given the relatively high accomodation charges. Our room had an amazing view of the fort and a very nice sit out area. Ambiance of the restaurants and the rooftop bar (with a breathtaking view of the fort lit up at night) was good, but the food wasn't anything to write home about. So while the property was pretty good given the heritage premises, I'd be hard pressed to recommend anything beyond a very short stay given the cost."
