"This place was incredible. Charles was such a kind, gracious host and welcomed us to a truly unbelievable view from our room. Excellent bathroom, bed, pillows, and the location is stellar (up high overlooking the entire bay). Breakfast was thoughtful and cute - thanks for making gluten free toast. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks Charles 🙂"

"Our room was spacious and nicely renovated. The view was absolutely amazing… we had a panoramic view of Nanaimo’s harbour. The hotel’s restaurant Minnoz was really good. We had two dinners and a breakfast there. Food and service was great. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location."

"We stayed at the micro while in town for a wedding. everything was great and the staff were very helpful with anything we needed. it was nice to have breakfast included which was very good, our favorite were the sausages! there are outdoor areas for the guests to use that were awesome! a covered area with a bbq and a seating area with a propane fire pit to sit around in the evenings. there was another area with picnic tables and strings of lights around the area, i have never stayed at a hotel that offers all of these things. there is also a pool that we didn't have a chance to use but it is just as wonderful as the rest of the hotel. i recommend the micro to anyone staying on the island, the staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcomed and at home for your stay! Thank you for making our stay such a good experience!"
