This is a great little stay for convenience because it’s situated right in town however it’s opposite two big clubs so the music blares all night. If you’re going for a party this is the place for you. If you have children? Not so much,,,

I arrived at this property after 8pm, said I would like to check in, the lady “gave me a look” confirmed my name and handed me a set of keys and tv remote and directed me to the room. Maybe iv just been spoilt on my recent tour of SA as every other hotel/b&b have been so welcoming. I don’t expect much but some basic information like checkout time/wifi/ breakfast would have been handy. Also I did message the property two days before via Expedia to notify them I would be arriving between 8-9pm, never got any response. Room was in good condition, bathroom needs some work. Another staff member in the morning was very helpful and did help me arranging transport. Staff in restaurant was also pleasant.

We received a different room than initially booked. arriving there was a hole in our bedroom door externally. Internally the wooden tiles in room were missing some. The fan in the room was extremely filled with dust and not working properly - made no air or wind. The Shower was horrendous - hot water didn't work in morning - only cold, and went completely off when hot water entered tap.

Fine, but...

The hotel room was clean and the bed comfortable (we like very firm mattresses). The bathroom is small, with a very narrow shower door (since there is plenty of wall next to it unsure why). The bath towels were clean but showed signs of age (some holes in one). The little porch was overfull. A room that can sleep 2 don't need seating for 5 people! As I am a big guy, I would have probably felt cramped if our stay was longer. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even giving us a complimentary breakfast which was not included in price. The hotel is situated in an excellent spot for the beach, and has some good restaurants in close proximity. Our one night stay was fine, but I probably won't be looking g at them for a longer stay.
