"The service was friendly. The room was basic and dated but served its purpose. The bathroom and linens were clean. The only part that was unappealing was the thick layer of dust on the walls."

"The place sneaks up on you, but the walkway was well lit. We didnt see the Moose til the next day and it was spectacular! The bed was comfy and the property was quiet. The only thing we found surprising was the lack of silverware, but the plastic fork box discovery completed our trip. If we are ever back in Jefferson we would stay here again."

"We loved our stay here! It’s a nice quiet area with tons of birds. The house is well stocked with nice pots, pans, cookie sheets etc. it was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed hanging out by the river and fishing. We caught creek chubs, smallmouth bass, rock bass, and some bluegills. We brought waders with and they made it easy to get around in the river. Access down to the river was super easy with the steps they have. Our dogs loved the yard and sitting in the sun on the deck. Definitely plan on coming back. One of our favorite vacation rentals! Host was very responsive with any questions we had. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful and had one of the most well appointed kitchens of any place we have stayed. The beds and furniture were super comfy. The downstairs game room was great. Honestly it was perfect. The only downside was the hot tub was not working because of the crazy winter temperatures. This was no fault of the owners or management company. We understood this and we did not mind. We were made aware of this ahead of time by the property management company, which we appreciated. We felt right at home and look forward to another stay at this beautiful location. "

"Place is very outdated. It was not clean at all. There was a bucket on the porch with dirty towels that had about 20 dead flies in it. Something sticky all over bathroom floor and furniture. No dish towels. Washer didn’t work. Gas logs eventually came on but smelled so bad we had to turn them off. One of the ceiling fans makes such a noise it can’t be used. Bathroom rug hadn’t been cleaned in forever. They are building small cabins and campsites right beside it so we had to listen to them work all weekend on the cabins. Porch table is rotting. Right on a highway with a very short driveway. The list goes on - I have contacted the host with photos and videos and am still waiting on a decision about a refund a week later. Very disappointed. "
