You will find this unique combination at the Spanish villa Casa Japara, a particularly attractive and romantic villa in Javea on the Costa Blanca. A large beautiful garden with lawn and gravel, spacious terraces, a private swimming pool of 5 x 9 m. And beautiful unobstructed panoramic views of the mountains (Montgo) and valley The accommodation is very quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac in a residential area, ensuring a lot of privacy and tranquility. Casa Japara has a sunny location and can accommodate up to 6 people. The villa and garden are on the ground floor. Casa Japara is situated on a completely fenced plot of 2000 m2 and has a private swimming pool with spacious terraces, garden furniture, including 6 sun beds, outdoor showers, 1 with hot water, and a BBQ. Directly at the house are a large open and covered terrace with lounge set and dining table. Both the swimming pool and the terraces can be atmospherically illuminated at night. You have a magnificent view of the surrounding hills and the Montgo (Elephant Mountain). The living room is comfortably and homely furnished. There is a music system and you have access to internet TV with both Dutch and foreign channels. The bedrooms are all equipped with new beds and mattresses, have fitted wardrobes and wooden shutters. Jávea has a varied coastal area with in the North the Montgó massif (ca. 753 m) also called "The Elephant" in view of the resemblance to an Elephant. The coastline can be very turbulent in the winter but the Montgó massif protects Jávea against the storms from the North and thus creates a unique microclimate. This climate has been declared by the World Health Organization WHO as one of the healthiest in the world. In the old center is the covered market and a few cozy shops, bars and restaurants. Javea's market day is on Thursday and there is a fish market every day in the harbor. Furthermore, on the site of the former Augustines Descaldes monastery, north of the church, it is the place to buy fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fresh fish. 20 kilometers away, towards Denia there is a large shopping center: La Marina. Beautiful gated single-storey property at the end of some narrow winding lanes. Very well equipped. Hosts were very responsive to any requests. The excellent pool area was both secluded and yet commanding a great view of the surrounding countryside. The outdoor grill and covered dining area were great. The indoor area was spacious and comfortable, with aircon units in bedrooms and living room. Nothing really to criticise. ##### Graham C. Our family had the most amazing two week holiday at Casa Japara. It was in the most beautiful location, and wonderfully peaceful. The villa was a home from home, sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The pool was perfect for our family and cleaned on a regular basis. Cynthia and Rolf were so helpful, the communication was excellent and we felt very well informed at all times. The villa was so well equipped and felt like a cherished home rather than just a holiday house. It was in a safe, quiet area that was so peaceful with amazing views of the Montgo - this is the first view we’ve seen that made us realise why it is called elephant mountain - you can see the elephant eyes, face and trunk from the garden! We visited Arenal, Calpe and Granadella beaches and the fun markets at Jesús Pobre and Javea but mostly we liked to stay in the beautiful villa. There are some fantastic restaurants nearby in Javea (Volta I Volta, Tasca rebotica) and surrounding areas (can sueno - 50 mins drive in to the mountains - a bucket list event!) - we made memories for a lifetime here and hope to return again one day!
