Located 5 minutes from the clubhouse and lakes, this two level 3,000 sqft property is great for larger groups to gather and separate when needed. Bear Paw Cabin has a breathtaking view off the top back deck of Cox Mountain. 15 minutes from IGA Grocery Store. All roads are paved in the community. Cars will make the drive just fine. You do not need four wheel drive. We chose to make this house a rental because of the awesome features it has like a large loaded kitchen, six bathrooms, two living areas and lots of parking. Great for multi family, wedding and group travel. Perfection! If you love to cook, this is the kitchen for you. We take pride it all of our cooking supplies. Crockpot, skillets, tons of nice pots and pans and cookware, casserole dishes. All top notch. There are four bedrooms and all have an en suite bath as well as two half baths in the common spaces. Tons of closet space in bedrooms. Two living rooms, one up and one down, each with a fireplace and 55" HDTV with Netflix, YouTube TV Channel Package and iHeart Radio. Very large full kitchen with granite on the main level, and smaller kitchenette area on the lower level with a mini fridge. Full washer and dryer on the main level. Propane grill on the upper deck. \*\*\*No Pets please as we like to keep this property pet hair free\*\*\* Dining Areas: Inside Main Level table for 8 and 3 at counter bar. Outdoor dining seating for 8 at main table and 4 at a smaller table. This home has more parking than most in big Canoe. There is a two car carport as well as a half circle driveway that can easily fit 8 cars during the day. Max five cars overnight please. Bedrooms: 1\. My children enjoyed the game room thoroughly, while the adults enjoyed the beautiful views and the new deck. It was a comfortable amount of space for 4 adults and 3 children (ages 7-14). The house is beautiful, the views spectacular and there are a lot of outdoor activities to do. We were a party of 10 for a graduation trip and the High School boys had plenty to do, stayed down stairs and allowed us quiet and privacy upstairs. It was perfect for us and we were not ready to leave 💕. My only feedback would be having to drag the trash to the main location was a bit inconvenient but we understand the importance of keeping trash away from houses due to bears so we made due. We did get to see a few bears playing in the woods. It was awesome. If your hesitating, don’t you won’t regret staying here! ##### Marissa S B. Wanted a place not too far from our home in Florida and where could enjoy the outdoors and see some fall foliage! Big Canoe is close enough to Atlanta and far enough from the heat of Florida. It was a perfect escape. Bear paw was a wonderful property with enough space for 3 families. Each room is equipped with its own bathroom- a PLUS! Also, half bath upstairs! Kitchen was stocked with the right amount of plateware, cutlery, glasses and cooking equipment. We never had an issue with needing something! Lots of fun games downstairs along with a karaoke machine which our “swifties” loved. It’s a little difficult to navigate the roads to the house given the layout of the mountain/ property, but once you get used to it, it’s just right and makes sense. The people in Big Canoe are very nice and welcoming. We enjoyed a fun band at the clubhouse one night. Lots of great activities in the area. Pumpkin patch nearby (Burt’s), BJ Reece’s Apple orchard and a sunflower field are a quick 20-25 min drive. We got some great food and photos with all the kids. We also found the beginning of the Appalachian trail at Amicalola falls about 25 min from the rental. Great Hike and picturesque falls. Would love to come back in the summer when the lakes of Big Canoe are in full swing. Boating, swimming, paddle boarding and a ROCK SLIDE. So cool! I have rented many, many cabins through the years and this is by far is our favorite even without a hot tub! The beds were comfy too. Perfect house for two families! Kids enjoyed the downstairs area with the games. We were able to book the pool for 45 mins just for our group, hiked daily and loved the Jeep Trail! Tara was amazing and worked with us quickly when another cabin cancelled the evening before check in. The cabin was beautiful and the scenery amazing. Great cabin for families. Full downstairs was a great addition for the teens in our group. They loved the games and karaoke machine. Can't wait to stay again. ##### Christina S. Plenty of room. Beautiful view. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were really nice. Golf course was beautiful and a pontoon rental on the lake is highly recommended!! Would definitely stay there again. Expect tons of steep, winding roads but that’s part of it!! ##### David D. We were a group of 9 ranging in ages from 4 to adults. We had a great stay and the house was just as advertised. The beach club was a blast and we saw lots of wildlife. The trails were fun to hike and the falls were beautiful. My only recendation is having clear directions from the house to the beach club and trash compactors.
