With a one-of-a-kind appeal and ideal location, this cottage was built for enjoying time with friends and family...and PET FRIENDS as well. Shady Lake Hideaway offers quick and easy access to LAKE CUMBERLAND and local and hiking spots. The 60 FOOT DRIVEWAY on the property allows for BOAT PARKING in addition to the main driveway. All 3 QUEEN BEDROOMS have their own bathroom. Yep! 3 FULL BATHROOMS. An additional sofa bed is located on the lower level. This hexagon-shaped cottage is truly unique. Lovingly called "the nut house" (as in hexagonal nuts and bolts) by the road's veteran residents, the cottage has an open concept UPPER-level that includes 2 bedrooms with QUEEN beds. Both bedrooms have an attached bathroom. The upper-level bedroom 1 (sleeps 2) has an attached shower. Bedroom 2 (sleeps 2) has an attached shower/tub combo. The FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN allows for home cooking with all major appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils. The bar height table seats 6-8 people with the expandable leaf found under the table. Plenty of space and comfortable.beds. I loved the pool table downstairs and we used the fire pit to make s'mores.Jamestown Marina is just a couple of minutes away which was great for us.We've already booked again in September. ##### Randy L. Our grandkids (15, 16 & 17) loved the space and the 3 full bathrooms were great. My daughter commented that the layout is a perfect use of space. Everything you needed was provided by the owner with meticulous attention to detail. The parking for the Seadoo trailer was an added bonus. We rented a boat from Jamestown and the location was perfect! One of our favorites on the lake is Rowena Marina - their food is awesome and staff very friendly.
