Nice value for money hotel
Hotel is located near Gajah Muda Plaza. Hotel staff are very friendly. Hotel looks abit old. Renovated the lobby area but other areas also need improvement like room and toilets. Breakfast spread could be improved. Area is near Jalan Gajah Muda, can walk out to entertainment outlets and restaurants.
Very nice room. Plush and comfortable. Food in the hotel is great. Unfortunately the location isn't great for the tourist. It's in a very low down business neighborhood. Not really close to anything of interest. Quite far from the main road too. Great price and hotel but too far from anything. Very friendly helpful staff.
This is my third time in this hotel and I like to come back here. It is generally very good, spacious lobby and bedrooms. It could do a bit more with maintenance (lift, carpet along the corridor, showerhead). It would be great to have a bit more selections in terms of coffee and tea. I was only given two sachets of black tea. Also the TV channels should be more international (French/English language) .
The room was a tidy twin room with en-suite, TV, AC and coffee making facilities. It was clean and everything worked well.
We did not use the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on it.
The reception area was well lit and clean with plenty of seating.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
I know it's owing more to Indonesia's attitude towards smoking than the hotel itself, but this hotel is *extremely* smoky. People smoking throughout the lobby at all hours, and we got a smoking room because the non-smoking were all sold out, so we encountered people smoking in their rooms with their doors open, so the hallways to our room were also full of smoke. In fairness, our smoking room did NOT smell like smoke, so it wasn't horrible, but it will definitely require tolerance to stay here. Other than that, the room was pretty nice overall; it was a bit dirty (like, long black hairs in the bathroom that remained after maid visits; neither of us has long black hair), but not gross. And the windows were warped, so insulation of street noise was minimal; the nearby Sunday morning Jazzercise (or whatever) session was a rude awakening at 5AM.

Hotel correct
I stayed one week at Triniti Hotel and I keep a good feeling of it, especially thanks to the staff who helped me a lot with the special need I had for my work in Jakarta. A particular thank you to Sella working at the reception who did a great job and was very patient. Apart from that, the room was big enough for me with a nice bathroom. Wifi connection was good compared to other hotels I have been to in Indonesia. Finally, the surrounding of the hotel is not the nicest one in Jakarta, but at least you find some more typical small streets with friendly locals and street food. And if you are not a fan of street food, you have a shopping small close by where there are more fast-food type restaurants, shops and even a Gold's Gym for the one who would like to do some sport.

good hotel, unfriendly front desk staff
the staff at front desk name harry is not friendly, not helping, not polite as front desk officer. we have experience dispute with the voucher hotel. according to the voucher we have, that we get free breakfast. but according to the email that the hotel got, the room we booked is not include breakfast. so they will charge the breakfast. and i ask him to help solving this matter. but he answer with high tone that this matter is my concern, not the hotel concern. and i should deal this matter with hotels.com alone, they do not care about this matter. i'm very angry he treat me like that. i ask for the manager to see me, after talk to the manager name diana. she only hear what i complain about their unfriendly staff but not helping much. just apology on hotel behalf. but the dispute about breakfast is not solve. when check out i met with harry again and i give the key card to him. from his face i know that he is angry with me. the hotel should not put him at front desk.
The hotel is decent, but it's not located on a main street, so it's hard to find. The surrounding area is a slum. The wifi was sufficient for VOIP calls.
