The air conditioner wasn’t working well and the refrigerator was not functioning. Just be careful when showering to avoid getting the whole floor wet. Also, found the room to be dim even though I have switched on all lights. However, beds are comfortable and staffs were very nice to replenish new towels each time we requested for. Friendly and great service. . breakfast by the pool is great . close to convention center. It's quickly noticeable that the Media Hotel is tired, long from the heydays of it being a Sheraton. Not very clean, water is still not filtered (common problem still in Jakarta), food is mediocre, and the rooms are beat up. Lastly, be careful as the front desk staff like to skim off the top with both money exchange and even bottled water. I was overcharged for both.
