Location was great, lots of restaurants around. The premise itself needed to be maintained. In my first room, the shower handled was broken, the AC didn't work and the room itself smelled cigarette. I moved to a 2nd room which was slightly better. AC worked, shower was decent. However, small insects ie. cockroaches, came out from the cracks on the wall. This room was on the same floor as the restaurant and it got extremely noisy when patrons had meals there. The bathroom is better suited to be on a plane not in a building. Everything smelled odd, the elevator, room and hallways smelled like a hospital crossed with a barn. The staff was okay, but I was putt off by several staff members offering to find prostitutes for us. But that's what you get for a $27 hotel. The only minor thing I didn't like is that I can't open window, I would appreciate some fresh air, the weather was not so hot when I stayed there. Other then that, for a 2 star hotel this is really nice stay, if you have enough budget then you should can try room with balcony, that one was looking really nice. Other then that, what you see in pictures is what you get. The pictures were taken when hotel was new, but it still looks very well. Our trip required us to be near southern Jakarta hence we chose this hotel. Turned out that we have chosen the right hotel because it is so peaceful and super clean. Very hip and modern too.
